I want my island to be based on the four seasons in New Horizons so I want the colors of the flowers to fit in with the season.

I have some ideas for autumn and winter but I am kind of stuck on figuring out which flower colours would fit in during spring and summer,,

Does anyone have some ideas?

My opinion:

Spring: Pink, White, Yellow
Summer: Yellow, Orange, Red
Autumn: Black, Red, Orange, Purple
Winter: White, Blue, Red

I'm really hoping we don't have to put up with snow in the southern hemisphere. It makes me not want to play.

I love landscaping but I lose all interest during the in-game winter and autumn.

There's a feature to swap the seasons for play in the Southern Hemisphere.

spring: white, yellow, orange, pink
summer: yellow, pink, purple, blue, honestly all colours except black!
autumn: orange, red, yellow
winter: white, purple, black, blue

But, there will still be snow in the winter and changing leaves in the autumn. Unless you can change the hemisphere at any time and then just play spring and summer eternally by swapping at the season change.

I know. That's why I said in my post. "I hope we don't have to put up with snow in the southern hemisphere".

I think despite playing in my hemisphere, snow will still be there when it's winter. It doesn't snow in winter or any other season here.

Pretty sure snow in winter months for either hemisphere will always be a staple of Animal Crossing. This is a weird thing to make you “not feel like playing” this. I live somewhere in the Northern Hemisphere that never snows and I’m not complaining about a different scenery.

It's white and covers everything. It makes the nerves in my eyes twitch constantly.

It's also not natural to me.

But like... just because its not natural to YOU doesn't make it not natural to anyone else? Like why should they change something that's been in every game, that millions of people experience in real life and love?

Dude just TT to stay in spring or summer months, you don't have to go on every post complaining about something with an easy fix or that can be ignored.

Did I ask for anyone to change it specifically for me?

Nor have I complained.

This topic is about seasons and people should be able to have a differing opinion without being jumped on.

I live in Australia where it's sunny and there is no snow in winter, so yes. It is not natural to those of us who actually live in this part of the southern hemisphere.

I mean I don't see the aurora borealis where I live, and the trees don't all turn pink in the spring time, and we don't get giant tropical beetles showing up in the summer. Lol. It's still neat to see these things in the game. It's fine not to like snow in AC (I actually don't care for it much either) but to not want it in your game just because it doesn't occur naturally in your part of the world seems a bit picky, just my oh-pinion.

Fine.

And it isn't 'picky' to not want to go through three entire months of it.

anyway to respond to the topic post I definitely associate bright colors with spring/summer so I'd go with yellow flowers and pink hybrids! White would work nicely with spring too.

Definitely this, I was thinking pink and white for spring with the cherry blossoms blooming, and think sprinkling in yellow for a transition into summer.

For summer, I think yellow, blue and orange would look nice together, I've always loved how vivid the tulips are but blue roses are nice too.
