My guess is, that you might have not read the novel. (Though, the movie is pretty inaccurate compared to it, despite it still being great)

Forrest Gump

The first time I'd ever seen it, and now it's one of my favorite movies. Very sad, very touching. Enough to bring tears to your eyes (I didn't cry, but my friend next to me did, yup, he's a guy )

And I'll be seeing Carrie (the remake) tonight!

Drag me to Hell

Great movie. I absolutely love horror films. This movie is excellent. It does a great job of scaring the viewer without using jump scares. Also, lots of action. This one has to be my favorite.
