last film you watched!

Rewatched Stoker while playing AC last night. Just as fantastic as it was the first time. Park Chan-wook is a genius! But the last movie I watched seriously was Rushmore, which was lovely in a typical Wes Anderson way but the characters failed to gain any sympathy from me.

This is Spinal Tap

If you haven't seen this movie, you sure as hell do need to. It's hilarious.

Good Morning (Yasujir? Ozu not that other person ho hoh!)

Weird I only just saw your post after I posted mine Secondsider, isn't that funny.

Ozu would have made a film about it!

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Anyways, the last movie I watched was Early Summer.

Ozu never fails me.

He never does indeed. Baah, must get more Ozu stuff. Only seen Tokyo monogatari(twice) and Late Spring. They're not that common here so.. hmm :p

Hoping to pick up some new dvd's tomorrow. Gonna get onto my Kurosawa list, still have a few left x3

Also, lol the clips I've seen from Ohayo seems great. And I want to see I was born but...

Wanna see all his stuff omg xD

The Hobbit. My girlfriend forced me. She's got a thing for dwarves at the moment... T-T

I've seen Good Morning several times. One of my favourite Ozu films. By the way... Have you ever watched Floating Weeds yet?

Anyways, the last movie I watched was Kenji Mizoguchi's The Life of Oharu.

Not yet, but it's on my list. There is always something perfect about every scene in his films, it's almost like reading a book, turning the pages, as the scenes change. A book so good, that you take your time to read, savouring every line, every word.

I also quite love how beautiful the cinematography in his films can be without any camera movement. :)

Got The Idiot and Dersu Uzala(Kurosawa), Samurai Rebellion(Kobayashi) and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/If_Not_Us,_Who? this one. got curios since I've seen Der Baader-Meinhof Komplex twice, so. Looks like a nice week to come.

Speaking of Kurosawa and Kobayashi, the last movies I watches were:

Akira Kurosawa's Ikiru (it's so sad... but Takashi Shimura...)
and Masaki Kobayashi's Harakiri

Labyrinth. I've been meaning to watch it, but never really got the chance. I wasn't disappointed with it when I did, though.

Battle Royale. I don't get the ending. They get accused of murder?! But but, the law, the fricken.. I don't get.. What the..
