Hi all!! I’m currently playing my boyfriends island for him. He bought it to play with me when we first started dating, but it was never his kinda game so when we moved in together he’s letting me run it with some requirements since it’s still his haha. Anyway! He’s latino and heavily grew up in the culture and wants to bring it to his game. I love that I get to help put characters in the game/show him characters that are inspired by latinx culture!!
So far characters he’s picked out are: Dobie, Curlos, and Olaf. I tried to do some googling of my own and those were the only ones who hit keywords in my google searches. He also mentioned if there was a brown eagle, but he didn’t like the villager as much when I showed him LOL Do you guys know any more villagers that may be along the lines of what he’s looking for?
If I didn’t use the correct terminology please let me know! My best friend is latinx, and he refers to himself as such BUT his mom doesn’t enjoy the term, same with my boyfriend and his family. Sorry for the rant on top of the question!

Dobie is like a ‘grandpa’ character to him and he said he looked like a coyote which is cute. Thank you for showing me Avery! Idk if I’ve heard of him before but he has a cool design to him so I’ll have to show him
