Okey found this on Tumblr, just gonna say it now that it could be fake but even so what do you guys think about this??

Some part of me wants that release date to be real. But another part has a feeling that it just might not be. Even if it is announced it could possibly get pushed back like Smash did. Honestly Im just super excited for this!

Well if it has a name then why would it still say Animal Crossing 2019 in the picture? Plus still using the same Nook render that has been used thus far... I don't think this is real I'm afraid.

Well hey, guess we'll see on thursday, but this reads as extremely fake. World traveller is a name I saw users throwing around before the game was even announced, which is why I think it's fake, and could've even be started by someone who uses these forums.

I think we would've seen an AC Direct rumoured already as well, just like we have seen rumours of a general and Smash one in November. Especially if the direct is supposedly so soon. This definitely seems to have just been posted by a random person as well, someone who created the account just to post it and hasn't even tried to tell us where they got the information or who they are. Just a cheap leak I think.

Looks like it could be true, but don’t count on it.
Well, there have been three game related directs in the same month, look at Smash Bros, Tomodachi Life and Mario Kart Direct in 2014. The Tomodachi Life direct came 2 days after the Smash Bros Direct.
If this is true. Then we’ll see them announce it tomorrow or Halloween. But if they don’t announce it, then you know what to expect.

Someone could have access to some top secret marketing informations like the full title or release date, sure. But, the ? first gameplay ? line is ridiculous. Like that?s the kind of informations a marketing dept. would get. Fake.

it's not a leak.... it is just a magazine listing upcoming games of 2019 with very general, partly guessed descriptions based on previous titles.. it's been around for atleast 2 weeks already and this wasn't even the original post. this user just tried it again. the full page was floating around twitter too in the comments of one of these posts.. can't find it right now

there's also no mention of a direct or release date in this............ .... ... ... . .. that user just made it up.

I knew that it was mostly likely fake, doubt that anything will be 'leaked' as soon as AC 2019 was announced but even the fake leaks still get me excited for what the new game could be and what people think the name is might be if that even makes sense lol Love hearing your thoughts peeps, and I hope that we get more proper info soon~

Are these just speculations or are there really (serious) hints that there could be a new Direct?
Also, a normal Direct or a AC only Direct? (I also heard people are waiting for another Smash
Direct in November too).

Would be nice to get some news soon. I mean, after all, it's great to know at least that there is
a AC game for the Switch on the way. Just the waiting for some informations is kinda annoying.
As for leaks in general, I'm always sceptical when it comes to leaks, since there are people out
there who are really good in making real looking leaks.

I just think releasing it on the third of the new year is really weird, picture aside. Like why not capitalize on all the holiday sales and release it just a bit sooner?

Plus, they just used that as an illustration...obviously, it's not a leak. It's been everywhere on twitter for a while.
They're just spreading a rumour which may or may not be true.
Anyway, we'll know pretty soon! If it's true, awesome. If not, still coming in 2019!

It's very conveniently lined up with the pre-existing rumors about there being 2 directs in november, and the rumors of AC being released in Q1 or Q2 of 2019. I'm not sure if I believe it, it seems a bit too good to be true. Would totally be my dream if it was true though!

there's been various rumours about an early november direct .. the 6th or 8th or sometime around then. but i mean noone knows for sure, if it would be an animal crossing direct or a smash bros or pokemon let's go one, since they are coming up soon.. some say animal crossing, cause the last 2 animal crossing directs were end of october/ early november, but we'll just have to wait and see.

for this "leak".. it really doesn't deserve any attention, it's a very lazy fake leak tweet, they just took an image that has been floating around twitter for a few days already at this point without any further info on it, and added some random dates and title. this is the only post of this pic that had these dates etc too and one of the last that were posted.. and on the full magazine page i linked you can see that it says none of these things..

Someone on tumblr (I think it was okmayor) said that World Traveler makes no sense since Nook wanted a place for people to come home to. Also, Nintendo doesn't really release games Worldwide, it's like her you go Japan then here you go Europe on a different date then here you go NA on another different date.

Overall, I believe this is fake.

Nahh ACNL was announced around this time, Release date was announced February 14th and we got it for June 9th. We won't be getting it this early.
They usually slowly release info and then eventually release a date.
