This is what has always bothered me when it comes to shoes: men’s shoe selection is too limited and often either too boring or really ugly looking unless the shoes are sneakers/hi-tops. Meanwhile women get all the cool and interesting shoes that come in an unlimited number of colors and prints while men only get shoes in white, brown, black, or navy blue. And men shoes never come with high heels which some shorter men might like as it would make them look taller.

I got these black Vessis for Christmas and I love them!!

They're comfortable, appropriate for exercise, work & everyday tasks, and they truly are 100% waterproof! I go on outdoor walks a lot and was tired of my sneakers getting soaked when the ground is wet, so these are perfect for me.

I wear vintage-inspired shoes / replicas from American Duchess most of the time. I have 3 pairs of that brand. I like that they make me feel like a time traveller :)
(Not those exact models because what if someone recognizes me by my quite unique shoes but I'm taking some examples from their website, one of them being in my wishlist!)

I also have one pair of more casual / androgynous looking loafers and one pair of sneakers.

I have a few pairs of shoes that I switch between. One is the Nike Free Run 2018 that I have in a few different colors. They’re super comfortable and I often find them on clearance, so I’ve just stick with them. 😆
I’ve been looking for a more casual white/light-colored sneaker, as well, so if anyone has any recommendations, please let me know!

Okay so I have a handful of footwear that I commonly wear.

My late fall/early spring go tos are my Doc Martens. They're the best for when the weather is kinds chilly and kinda mucky. I bought this pair for my 18th birthday and they are still going strong!!

When the weather warms up I wear a pair of Asics runners. They're comfy and stay on well!! I am outside with my toddlers for roughly three hours total a day and I need shoes that won't fall off when we are playing and I like to go for a walk on my lunch break.

In the winter I have a pair of Helly Hansen boots that I love. This was my second winter with them and they make the season so much easier!! They're very light to wear and they keep me warm.

In my classroom (when I can be bothered) I have a pair of birkenstocks I wear. They're the kind that are like... fully covered on top? You can't see toes but you can see my heel if that makes sense. They are pink!! A friend gave them to me when they got them by mistake in an online order. They took a minute to break in but now they're very comfy!

You can't beat the classics. 🤝
I haven't gotten Vans in awhile, but did you ever try the Ultracush ones?? They don't make them anymore I believe, but those were some of the comfiest shoes I ever wore in my life!
Oh of course! 😌
And unfortunately I have not. My current pair are still my only pair. 😔

those are clean models imo, the 2002r specifically! idk how you do it working slanging shoes, I would cave everyday LOL OTL
you gotta resist, if i don't then i would be overflowing with things!!! there's so many good shoes and clothes but i need to remember to clock out and run out, no wandering the store after i'm off the clock

i really love shoes, i would own a ton of them if i could (even tho i wear the same ones daily lmao). i wear platform doc marten's pretty much everywhere i go unless it's summer. i love them so much, i'm a sucker for platforms and especially for boots but these just feel like an extension of my body by this point.

i really need one or two more pairs of shoes that aren't boots, so eventually i'm planning to buy the platform version of my favorite two pairs of childhood shoes; converse and vans :')

I used Google Lens on the shoes, and I think they're these ones?? They're on the Tilly's website and they happen to be 30% off right now at the time I'm writing this and all of the sizes are stocked!

I got these trendy New Balance 530s for my mom this past Christmas! What do you think of them?

i like the colorway on the second ones though! I am a sucker for blue shoes and these are dope!

I prefer the Nike pair, but I don’t think I want high-tops. 😆 But thanks for the recommendations!
I love the style of the pair you showed in your post. I’ve tried on Reebok Club C 85 and liked the look, but the foam lining inside was crumbling so I didn’t get them. 😬

I'm boring so I wear the same pair of black platform converse everyday. I use them for walking, PE, working, basically everything. They used to belong to my older brother but they're too big for him and apparently my feet are huge?

I do have two pairs of boots, one black and one cream, though I don't wear them that often, only on special occasions or where I want to look fancy 😌

My school shoes are slide ons and look very feminine (no **** lasagne, you bought them from the women's section) but they have large platforms and I like being tall and I want to be able to take off school shoes easily when I get home so they're good enough for me.

i’m not a fan of having toooo many shoes so i tend to rotate through 3-4 pairs most days and have a few more for special occasions.

i’ve got two sneakers from hoka, one in the typical sneaker fabric and one in leather. the sneaker ones are super fun color and i love to wear them as a lil accent. my leather ones are amazing for rain/snow which is sooooo nice. i hate having wet or cold feet.

i’ve also got a pretty beat up pair of white converse (i loooove how they age). mostly i use these when i know im going to be somewhere that my shoes might get messed up like at events or concerts.

my last pair of shoes i always have is some type of strappy sandal. right now i’ve got some merrells but i’ve had tevas before and i love those too. they’re great for the warm months so i can get a really embarrassing tan line :x

i do have a few more shoes in my wardrobe but they’re more special occasion/for the memories. i’ve got a couple black heels, one is a typical pump and the other is a knee high boot. they’re both pretty uncomfortable so i only wear them for sit down events lol.

lastly my crown jewel has to be my elyse booties from stella mccartney. i bought these ageeeeessss ago when they were pretty popular and i love them to death. not a super practical or comfortable shoe but i just think they’re stellar !

I like to wear white canvas sneakers because they go with a lot of things. I’ve always been big on boots in the cold weather, currently I have a dark brown suede pair of lace-up boots my boyfriend got me.

I also love crazy and colorful platform boots and would love to own some someday.

after pulling up the picture of those Bangs shoes I was successfully targeted by an ig ad and I caved and pre-ordered these babies

I know people wouldn't really be able to see them but I love the outline being on the soles, looks so cool

My left foot and ankle are always randomly hurting so I don’t vibe with most shoes right now lol.

I usually wear Crocs (don’t judge me), or sneakers. It’s funny bc I love pretty shoes; I even have a book about shoes (women’s). It has everything from Lotus shoes (for Chinese women with bound feet), to ancient sandals and modern pumps. Some of the prettiest ones in there have the HIGHEST heels. It wasn’t until I was older, though, that I realized those were vintage pleasers….😅

I hate shoes. I would live my life barefoot if i could. All my life, it's been extremely difficult to find shoes that don't hurt my feet. A lot. I used to wear pretty shoes and just deal with the pain, but I'm done with that.

Usually, I find something tolerable and then cut out the back of the shoe. The backs of shoes always cause me pain/blisters/bleeding, even when supposedly "soft" or "low". Lately I've been wearing my muck boots everywhere. They're a larger size than i need, but at least they don't hurt.

I would LOVE to find shoes that truly feel barefoot, but that are tough enough on the bottom i won't get injured if i step on a nail/ glass/ stickers/really hot surface. I would way overpay if I could find a truly comfy pair of shoes that looked decent.

I bought a pair of "barefoot" shoes once, but they were sooo uncomfortable and couldn't get the right fit. I spent most of my time barefoot as a child, so that probably affected my foot shape ig.
