Absolutely!
Whenever there's a hidden ability release for a relatively popular or useful Pokemon, I do my best to breed in bulk for good IVs and try hard for a shiny. It's much quicker to hatch them when you breed two of the same Pokemon together with one that is foreign, abuse the hatching o-power, shiny and oval charm, and using the flame body ability. Dittos work, but it's noticeably slower. I've been pretty lucky when it comes to breeding since there's only been a couple times that I went over 600+ eggs to hatch a shiny. Knowing shiny values could probably help me, but then I'd have to ask someone who has the program to check and find someone with a match and that just seems like too much work. I'd rather keep it traditional. I'll let you know when your Snivy is all EV-trained, hun!
