Hey everyone! I'm gonna catch up on yesterday's action real quick, and then I'll post today's actual blog.
First of all, my house now has a second floor! Considering my bottom one was getting somewhat full, I'm glad to have the space. I'll be filling it with my mermaid furniture for now, but I may change it out later. ( ´∀｀)
I spoke with my villagers afterwards. Snake had a delivery for Gaston; when Gaston tried on the shirt Snake had given him, Gaston claimed that he loved it. Is a bromance starting up here? It looks like the rabbits are becoming fast friends!
I continued with the villagers, and when I got to Chops, he requested fruit. I wanted to be on the path to get his pic, so I got him a perfect apple. He enjoyed it and gave me a gift. Not his picture, but at least I'm on the right track.
I headed to Re-Tail to sell my items that the villagers had given me. But when I opened the door...surprise!

Cyrus was awake, at long last! He talked to Reese. You know the conversation- him being asleep so long that he didn't even know I existed. But Cyrus promised that he would be able to refurbish anything of mine that could possibly be altered. Since I want my entire rococo set to be gothic white, I sold my items and went home to pick up my rococo vanity. I turned it in to Cyrus, and he told me that it would be done in about 30 minutes.
To kill some time, I did my dailies and checked all the shops for new items I wanted. I purchased a mermaid roof at Nooks' Homes. All I need now is the mermaid exterior. At the Able Sisters shop, I discovered that Sable had gotten her new machine! I could have gotten it earlier if I hadn't missed those two days / hadn't come on too late, but whatever. I have it now and I couldn't be happier. c:
Since there was nobody in the plaza, I checked the beaches to see if maybe Gulliver had turned up. Sure enough, there he was, passed out by the dock. I woke him up and he gave me clues about where he was headed. Vikings and mermaids. I used trusty Google- it was Denmark- and picked the answer. I should've looked at the answers before googling. It was pretty obvious that Denmark was the right answer anyway! ; o ;
I went back to Re-Tail to pick up my item before celebrating the completion of my Dream Suite.

To finish off, I went to the island to check for mermaid furniture and do some of the tours.
