Mayor of Cypress
I probably should've posted this Blog yesterday, but when saving my photos from my SD Card onto my computer, I didn't realize that I saved them at a rather small size, so I had to go back this morning, delete them all, and re-upload them, which took a good amount of time! Anyway, here's how I spent Cypress's one-year celebration.
To start it off, I was very fortunate to have Snake ping me with the request of having a fire pit built! Of all requests, I certainly was not expecting this one, especially since I had just completed the log bench PWP the day before. Nonetheless, I was determined to have it built right away to complete my setting around the campsite. Sure enough, I payed it off right on the spot-thank goodness it was so cheap!

It was a bit bigger than I expected, so I was worried that I wouldn't be able to fit it in between the campsite, the log bench, the cliff, and Sylvia's house. I certainly didn't want to have to demolish my log bench so soon after I had completed it! Thankfully, I managed to squeeze it in. It'll take some getting used to since I have to walk right past it every time I water my flowers, but it matches the setting perfectly, so at least that's a pro.

Katie also showed up in town, just as I assumed she would eventually. MadisonCrossing and MeghanNewLeaf both refused to take her off my hands that day, so I kept her wandering around town. Since then, she hasn't been seen. Either she just decided to leave, or she's still hiding somewhere in town...
Aside from that, I had a pretty successful day of celebrating with my villagers. Although I got on a bit late, I still had time to take a nostalgic walk around town taking in all of the sights and sounds, hang out with Wolfgang at Club LOL (I haven't been to DJ K.K.'s in a while), and I was even able to take a trip to the island and go on a few tours! The next morning I made sure to leave a message on the bulletin board saying how thankful I am that my town has stuck with me as their Mayor for so long. It was a fantastic night just to be able to catch up with Cypress's happenings again.
I have more news that I'll be posting in my next Blog, which I'll hopefully have up in the next few days or so. For now, keep watch for Part 74!
