guess my advice would be to just keep at it and watch plenty of drawing tutorials on youtube.
Also plan. Plan plan plan! Draw the overall plan of the drawing, don't free-style. Plan the face, arms, legs etc.
also remember that when whatever you're drawing is facing forward (like your first two drawings) that their facial features have to incorporate that angle as well. For example the nose in the first drawing is pointing right so it looks strange, whereas it should be pointing straight towards us.
