List of Villagers Based on Popularity

Merengue should be moved up. People are holding more giveaways than auctions, which to me means that his popularity is slowly dying. I haven't seen many Merengue auctions, but her popularity is still up. Also, I think Annalise should be moved up, as well as Tiffany. When Tiffany moved in on my cycling thread, AnimeK had a long list of people for PM notification. Annalise is also an original islander, and I have seen a few people with her in their signatures.

i dont think ive ever seen Marshal go for that
besides this will just keep happening, as more people get their dreamies obvs they will be seen less, that doesnt mean if we reach a day eventually where everyone has the top 2, and people are desperately getting all the lower tiers, they become more popular lol as the populars arent talked about anymore

idk i just still think Marshal sells for more when he is up for sale; Merengue is around much more but she sells for less.

Due to lots of giveaways, many people have their Marshal. I've been seeing a lack of giveaways for Merengue and a higher demand for her. Merengue should be moved up. I also think Ankha should be moved down, a bit. I see lots of Auctions for her and not many people bidding.

The Ankha part is very true. I have been thinking of letting go of my Ankha, but I don't think I can yet.

There is a thread on "underrated villagers" in which one person mentioned Marshal. Apparently the person was kidding. But there is a way to move Merengue up to No. 1 without dropping Marshal. It would read something like this:

though tbh the placings where they are dont really matter much lol, 1 place doesnt make a vast difference in the middle bits of tier 2

Guys I've mentioned this before.. Just because people like a villager, it does NOT mean they're popular!

Look at villagers like Sydney, Phil, Melba and Kiki.. They're very well liked, but they're very low in the Tiers..

@Candy83.. I could do that, but doing that would make it sound like Marshal will indefinitely be the most popular villager.. And when I first started, he wasn't, Julian was, followed by Stitches, then Marshal

It much has to do with which villagers are most being pursued.

I respectfully disagree with anyone mentioning that Rosie should be dropped from Top Tier. I just got her Thursday [03.20.2014]. And it seems that sometimes it is the weekend that tends to present more in villagers being offered up for Trading/Selling/Giveaway/Cycling/etc. Rosie has been put up this weekend. She was put up Thursday and more on Friday [03.21.2014].

The Top Tier listees I'm anticipating will drop lower in the lineup are Ankha and, right out of the Top Tier, Marina and Whitney. And I think Bam will replace one of them, to become Top Tier, as the stock also rises for both Phoebe and Molly.

Well, based on your thread about Annalise, the #1 response was that she was well liked, but people wouldn't try to get her in their towns as a dreamie. I guess that's how villagers can be well-liked, but not popular - liked, but not loved enough to warrant a search

I revised my remark @ post #577 to include referencing Bam, Phoebe, and Molly.

I am also going to start paying more attention to Diana. It may be me. I seem not to see her put up too much lately. But there may be a reason: Perhaps she gets held longer after players succeed in getting her. That may be it.
