If this was done already, just let me know and provide a link please. :3

Contrary to my last thread about tiny details that you disliked, let's talk about tiny details that you did like. It doesn't have to be something huge. It's still under the works, but let's hear about a tiny detail that you actually enjoyed tremendously.

For me, it was the villagers walking. Although we only really see Fuchsia walking outside in the demo, it really intrigued me. In ACNL, the villagers kinda bounced when they walked. Also their legs looked like twigs moving forward. There was a little bend to them, but it was still pretty stiff. Fuchsia walking in the demo looks so smooth and her knees bent like someone actually walking irl. It was super pretty and I loved it.

I like fuscia sitting on the ground watching the river. So cute! I hope there are more cute little things like that the animals can do. <3

I like the highlights on the hair! It's a thing that you can see a lot in anime but I think it looks cool in Animal Crossing too!

I love that we can stand on the big rocks on the beach and majestically look out at the ocean

The snowfall looks amazingly pretty, like winter in general looks in this game so beautiful.

One of the reasons I like Nintendo's games is the attention to small details. They bothered to have leaves on the trees move when winds are blowing, more life in villagers as opposed to looking at one direction at all times. Also, I can't believe we're freaking out over the hair of human villagers moving now. XD

We've seen it before in NL, but I really appreciated the warm light shining through the tent when it turned dark outside. Overall the game looks much more atmospheric, which is always something I pay close attention to!

I also agree with liking the seasonal weeds and snowfall!

Oh okay here we go!

I love that the hair of the player characters and the clothes have jiggle physics now. I dunno why but I've always loved jiggle physics in games it just looks so fancy! Happy that Animal Crossing took that step now too.

I'm super impressed with how the fire looks outdoors, it looks much better than anything that's been in the previous games. I'm very hopeful that other old returninh furniture will also get beautiful visual updates.

Light sources actually are a lightsource now and cast on objects and players rather than just being a cheap shader!

I love how consistent the entire world is visually. There is nothing that sticks out as odd, there is a nice consistent theme going on. New Leaf also had this but I'm happy that they're still paying attention to that.

You can actually see the wind blowing by looking at the leaves of the trees but also through your hair and clothes and you can hear it too!

I'm sure there is a lot more to spot but wow this is soo good already I can't waiit!!

I liked the rocks on the beach. (I think they've been included like that in a previous game too.)
Seeing the snow season in the trailer was pretty nostalgic as well.

I think we'll probably get one more overview closer to the games release. Or maybe not...maybe they'll surprise us.

the level and detail of the shading of the player and objects, even featuring double shadows (one noticeably dark and another much less noticeable light shadow for the same object)

that ponytail bob and sway

the attention to subtle details such as the weather affecting how the plants interact or that there's now bait to catch certain types of fish (and perhaps something for bugs or such too?)

that items automatically stack now, and that you can stack flower bags (do wonder if the stacked maximum is the same across all stackable items)

I also really love how the flimsy tools look design-wise

tbh, stuff like the wind affecting tree sway and the ambient sounds kinda makes me wish we had raw footage without commentary of the treehouse stream too

Loved the tree leaves moving in the wind and loved how the foliage looked in fall.

Was awesome to see Olivia sitting in the ground.

Also seeing Fushcia carrying a pile of sticks around in the Treehouse gameplay video. Super adorable and makes me exited to see how much more interactive the animals will be with objects NH.

Loved the hair physics and how blue the sky was. So many small things to be excited about.

The vaulting pole is the little thing I'm honestly excited about the most. Yes, it is useful for getting over rivers before there's a bridge. But I also like it from the perspective that if you have it in your pocket, it can make it easier to get around even when you have bridges. Especially if you only have 1 at the beginning. It can be annoying to walk all the way over to a single bridge sometimes when you're far away from it.

I love that the animals can wear proper clothes now! Seeing Fuchsia in that dress was so cute, plus, they can wear sleeves now!
I also adore the new hair physics, I can't wait to see how all the hairstyles look in the new style~~

Honestly, everything xD I'm so hyped for this. The weather looks amazing, rainfall on the river, snow... All this looks really accurate.
The pole seems very nice too, and I'm specially excited for the "proper clothing" for villagers now. Goldie looks soooo cute with her dress now sitting on that bench in the trailer. I'm really excited waiting for it! :D

I liked seeing ripples on the water when it rained. I can see myself sitting by the river on a rainy day and watching the ripples.

Shadows cast by clouds, animals being more lifelike, animals being able to wear dresses; hopefully they can wear hats and other accessories too!
