Hi everyone! I'm looking to quickly sell Lolly the Cat for 50 NMT. She is moving out naturally, no amiibo. Please have an open plot to take her today. Please be willing to TT one day ahead if you get her from me to make sure you don't get any glitches

It's just to prevent any glitches from happening if you decide to visit other people's islands that day. A glitch can happen where you get someone's voided villager from their island, even though you shouldn't have an empty space because you already filled it. If you TT a day ahead, it will make the villager be in boxes in your island right away.

Hi, I think there's a misconception. The reason why some TT'd a day forward after a trade to check if the villager is glitch or not. TT'ing a day doesn't guarantee that the adopter will not have the glitch. You could read the documentation in a thread pinned in this subforum.

I've read it, I'm just doing this based on my own personal experience of trading with others. Haven't had anyone glitched because of TTing to trade one day ahead. If people decide not to, then it's fine.

Just giving a disclaimer based from what I read over here and discord. In order for the adoptee to be aware that it's not 100% guaranteed since your case is different with the other who reported. But I'm not stopping anyone to trade.

I assume if you are trading on here then you should be aware there is a risk. I wrote earlier it was to prevent glitches, not that it will be risk-free.
