i've had a lot of fun browsing as a member and actually being able to reply to things now haha.. i also never noticed until now that the layout changes from day to night, that is such a cute feature ♥

i do have a question though, how do events work here?

it kinda depends on the event! what are you trying to figure out right now? currently we are in the 3rd week of the red balloon world tour event and we have an advent calendar, a forum collectible raffle every day for the next 6 days, this snowman crafting thing, and mad libs but with christmas songs you can read about/enter them in the pages i linked or by going to the red balloon world tour section in the forum!

Welcome to TBT! Also, just like what neoratz said, currently it’s the Red Balloon World Tour. You’ll see a thread in the Town Hall section that says it. Just click on it and the highlighted threads (the 4 starting ones) are part of the event. They explain everything you need to do to participate for each one, and the prizes you can win. In exchange for the currencies you get from participating if your entry is accepted, you can click the ‘Shop’ button at the top which will lead you to different ‘shops’ that sell items either for tbt, or the currencies from the current event. Participating in events is really fun and can get you some rare and cool collectibles (the items you buy from the shops) that will be put into your lineup (the little items under people’s avatars). Or of course, you can sell them to others for tbt or other collectibles, etc depending on what you’re looking for (if you’re unsure of prices, I’d recommend checking the ‘collectible tier list’ on the “TBT Marketplace” thread; they update tbt pricing and values on collectibles often and are accurate). So yeah, hopefully you enjoy the forums, the community is so lovely!

Can’t wait

I had a switch with Zelda BOTW but sold it. This was when the switch was fresh. Got my 2ds last thanksgiving (Mario Maker edition) and got the ACNL game based on YouTube recommendations. I haven?t looked back since.

For new horizons I am going to get a switch lite. The greenish lite. On that day March 20 2020.

From the vids on YouTube it?s looking more like pocket camp than ACNL. Still getting it though.
