Looking Back and Thanks! JF’s Art and Stuff: Watch Me Get Better

Hello there! Welcome to JF?s Art Page, AKA, Watch Me Get Better!

Way back when I played New Leaf, I started an art page on here and began practicing consistently. I participated in group challenges and pages, and did TBT commissions and things, and it was one of my first and favorite periods in my art journey. With New Horizons coming out soon, I couldn?t help but think fondly of how much I enjoyed playing New Leaf and making fan art on the Bell Tree.

I originally titled my art thread, ?Watch Me Get Better,? because that?s what I wanted! To get better! And it?s so encouraging to look back and see such a small idea I started here that has blossomed into my full time career. Thank you to everyone who encourages the small ideas, just like I was during that time! Making art in here was so special to me. I wanted to post a few things that looked back on what I once made, to where I am now in my growing process, just as a sort of memory of where things were during that special time!

Oh your art is lovely!! One of my favorite things to see in an artist is variation in their pieces, whether its portraits versus landscape, different subjects, or styles- and you've got all of that! That's so nice to see you've grown a lot on here. Sure I haven't been along for the ride nearly as long but as an artist who mainly shares on here and does commissions and stuff, it's nice hearing someone else's story!!
