Hi friends! I’ve been working on my island and I’m at the point where I really need some input from others! Last time I needed some input this site was so incredibly helpful so I thought I would ask again! My DA is 4473-8846-7217 and the main things I need input on are:
- the little flower garden and fountain to the bottom left of my resident services, I put it there to fill space and I like it but I feel like I could come up with something more creative? I don’t have any ideas yet but the area has been bugging me. If I did get rid of it, I'd need to find a place to put my mums, cosmos, pansies, and lilies, as I like to have at least one of each flower on my island, but I'm mainly using hyacinths, roses, tulips, and windflowers.
- the overlook area on the top of my island next to the museum. I absolutely love it and want to keep it but I’m not sure what to put here aside from what’s there now. Also not sure how to fill the space between the path and the stairs leading to the overlook.
- the big empty area to the right of resident services.
- the side beaches
- the pumpkin patch (keep? Get rid of? Shrink it?)

But honestly I’ll take any input, comments, or constructive criticisms you guys have! I asked my friends and they said I care too much
😂

- I like the little fountain/flower area. Maybe to add more interest you could intersperse some butterfly models (the ones made by flick) in amongst the flowers? You could also move it all down one square and "layer" up fences, like have the iron and stone fence around the outside of the hedges. It's something I see on other island sometimes and it can look quite cool. wish I had a picture so I could be more clear about what I mean lol. You could also take off the corner hedge pieces and plant trees there instead - could make the area look even more lush and enclosed/cosy

- The overlook area is SO CUTE. I think you could add even more chairs and tables, maybe even a stall and some simple panels with a menu board design on them - could turn it into a little cafe area. for filling the area leading up to the stairs - you could download 'The Path' design, or something that would give you a little curved overgrown looking pathway off the main terracotta path you have laid.

-for big empty areas i'm always like: when in doubt add a pond/waterfall lmao - I've also seen people making bike parks then placing bikes randomly in different areas of the island. always thought it was kind of cute and made the island feel even more lived in/alive, you can find quite a few codes for bike parking areas online.

- the pumpkin patch is a good size, i'd stick a lil fence round it, though - maybe add some barrels/a well/buckets for a bit of context clutter

- I love the little flower shop area with the soil bags - so nice with the custom simple panels!

-your villager housing area amazing, so well organised and elegant, love the little personalised yard areas for each house, and all the fountains!

- I'm with you in that I dunno what to do with side beaches - maybe a spa? I've seen some amazing ones on pinterest/tumblr/twitter. Maybe a bonfire area, or a surfboard rental area? it's not an easy area to decorate.

- but I love the areas you have on your beaches right now.

- you have so many cool little spaces and decorated areas, your island feels huge because there is so much to explore!

overall your island is packed with cool areas to explore - I love that. you have so many things already it's hard to suggest stuff but I gave it a go. Our aesthetics are quite different so feel free to disregard everything I've said lol - i'm very into clutter and your island is a lot more elegant than mine!

It's a beautiful island, though - thanks for sharing it 💚

I decided to give this a visit as well so here's what I came up with:

-I really like the flower area to the left of resident services, I love how it looks with the abundance of street lamps and if anything I would just make it larger since there is also empty space above

-For the overlook area I think continuing the arched stone tile below the stairs and adding more tables or benches would be a good approach. Or if you wanted a different option maybe adding a small waterfall feature similar to the one currently behind your campsite could hide the stairs and make for more of a "secret lookout" kind of vibe?

-For the right side of resident services I would suggest tulips to mirror the left side or any other flowers really OR this sort of ties in with my next point

- Beaches... would you consider moving your campsite to the beach? It's in a bit of a small area now and I think it could look cute in the top right with the other decorations you have there now. You could potentially move the flower shop to where the campsite is currently (right of resident service) and then expand your bamboo area to fill where the flower shop is currently. If you didn't want to move the flower shop I think a rock garden could also work really well for the right side of resident services because it's fairly close to Nooks if you need to buy more tools.

-Pumpkin patch: You don't have any green pumpkins! Otherwise cute

Sorry if this is rambley just wanted to throw out some ideas! I love how spacious your island feels especially the neighbourhood how when you are standing in front of each house you can't see any other houses at the same time it makes everyone feel like they got a ton of room to themselves. I also love the top right area, I adore the little moon pond! Very cute island. ☺

thank you so much guys! i really appreciate you taking the time to help me out!
