Hello everyone!

I've been something of a lurker here for quite a while, but finally decided to actually confirm my email to log into these forums. In light of all the exciting news about ACNH's big upcoming update, I felt that this was the time I guess.

About me: What's to say? I'm 31 years old and ACNH is my first AC game since the GCN version. It was easily one of my favourite games back then, and to say that NH was a lifesaver during Covid would be an understatement.
Aside from AC, I enjoy The Legend of Zelda of course, Ragnarok Online, and FFXIV.

Haha, I suppose that is a bit strange eh? I made the account back then, but then it sort of fell to the wayside and I chose to lurk every now and then for the most part. I'm sorta' returning to the game I suppose in light of all the changes. All of the content has breathed a lot of life into the game for me. I've played on and off since release, but certainly not as much recently as the first few months until around August 2020 or so. I played a bit in the winter and then stopped again. It'll be exciting to get back into the game for fall, since I'm yet to really see it and I really want some of the mushroom furniture!

Welcome to the visible space! What are you most excited for from the update?

Cheers! I think if I had to choose something as a favourite, it'd be Brewster and Gyroids. Since the last AC game I really played was GCN, Gyroids are a bit of a childhood memory thing. I was a bit bummed to find that the base game did not have 'em, but alas here they are. For Brewster, I never got to experience him before, but I love the concept of his cafe potentially adding some life into the side characters like Isabelle and the merchants who might drop in on break.
Bonus points for Redd having his own shop on Harv's Island! Due to limited time, I barely have any of his art, so it'll be welcome to have him around more often.
