Best Moment of 2016: The best moment of my 2016 was flying from California to Oklahoma to see my grandma. When I walked in, she paused like she couldn't believe I was here in front of her and we just both started crying. Doctors had just diagnosed her cancer as terminal. Whenever I'm sad about missing her last moments for an ex who possibly lied to me about his own bad health, I try to remember her face and the joy underneath her tears.
