Man, 30 %?!

I cannot believe this.

I don't know if I should be talking about politics here or anything, but man! Let me tell you this.

Now, don't get me wrong, I know; running a country costs money, and the USA is a bunch in debt.

But anyway, my dad is a doctor. And for every buck he makes, he's gotta give 32 % of it (32 cents) to Uncle Sam. That's over a quarter of it! I mean, I can understand 10%, but jeese! 30%? I could buy 3 video games with that.

Plus, these days, we have a tax on everything. Sales, food, contest winnings. I bet there is a tax for paying a freakin' tax!

Plus, with war, high gas prices, and George W. Bush's system of all this stuff, it isn't making any of this any better what so ever.

Well if it is 30% you are either counting every tax or you dad makes a ton of money.
Be thankful for what you have and remember what taxes get you. Everything from protection by firefighter and police to roads and parks.

taxes do help the economy when they are fair.
And our taxes are at least close to being fair.

anything that is public comes from taxes, the gov is supported by taxes, the military, medical research, social security, medicare, medicaid, many relief funds to help those in need, even the water supply that you use daily. All from taxes.
Taxes help make life a little easier for everyone.

I dont have much of an opinion on these kind of things. I'm not really into politics. But taxes should be chopped down a bit.
