So, Marine Le Pen has been making headlines a lot recently, particularly not only because of France's upcoming presidential election, but also because the perpetrator of the recent shooting that took place at a mosque in Canada was a major supporter of her ideas.
So, do you support Marine Le Pen, or no?

I do not. She's absolutely despicable and a lousy excuse for a human being.

I have no idea who she is but there's no option for that hm

leader of the french conservative right-wing nationalist party.

pretty sure theyve been racist, islamophobic and xenophobic, wanted to stop immigration, exit the EU etc u know all the regular extreme right stuff. there is a chance/risk that they will win the french election bc apparently theyve been gettign a boost due to the terrorism in france last year.

anyway, i personally dislike her. she reminds me of the leader of the swedish racist party, sverigedemokraterna/the sweden democrats in how she tries to cover up the right wing extremist things, refuses to call her party racist and tries to seem like just any other party. kinda unlike her dad i guess idk much about it but it feels like theyve been trying to appear way less racist and extreme since marie le pen took over.

it is rly sad and scary how racist and gross political parties gain more votes in all of europe. with the terrorism, the refugee situation and all other problems europe is facing i think we should go together and try to fix things together but nah people want muslims to stop wearing hijabs because it makes them angry lmao

Yep, she and her party, the National Front, are currently leading the polls in France as it heads for the first round of the presidential election in April.

I don't like her party or what she wants to do with France, I hope she doesn't win because it could be another thing to add to the list of crappy things that can happen to the world in 2017 and I just don't want that to happen, so don't let her be President France!

Her economic plans about free trade don't sit right with me, her immigration and illegal immigration plans feel similar to Trumps and to be perfectly honest be compared to Trump is one of the worst things that could happen to someone, sorry Marine but yes, you are that bad, Conservative views never sit right with me so she isn't going to be an exception.

Oh dear, hopefully she pulls a Hillary and loses the election, anything can happen so I shouldn't worry, right? *fingers crossed*

Here's some instructions.

1. Type in "Marine Le Pen" on your search engine.
2. Click into anything that seems like it will explain things.
3. Read it.
4. Comment a post with thoughts that are meaningful to discussion.
5. Try to stop putting GIFs in your posts all the time, especially ones that you intend to use to make someone feel bad, it makes you like a jerk and it makes it look like you have nothing to say which in turn makes you look like a fool.

1. I'm not asking OP to stick a 5 page essay on this person for me, but if you're going to make a thread about someone you should at least give us a basic idea of who this person is.
2. Either you're not wearing your glasses or you lack the basic ability to read because I clearly did have something to say right above the gif, and adding a gif to my post doesn't take away from anything I said.

That said, I apologize for being rude, OP.

Well it wasn't really adding to the OP nor did you have anything to really say when you could easily get a summary elsewhere, the GIF was rude so I felt like stepping in. =/

Anyway you apologized to the OP so there's no point in going down that rabbit hole is there, sorry if I seem to be rude or anything that wasn't my intent and I'm just sick of the amount of respect some people have these days soni guess I kinda lost it with you, sorry! >.<

I don't support her ideas but I wanted to know who she was and listened to one of her speech that lasts like 1h30 hour and it was less far right than I first thought, some ideas were, some explanations were not, she denounced modern slavery of immigrants, which was interesting but yes, she had other positions that I didn't like at all.

What annoys me with people in general is they are seeing everything white or black, they don't read several sources, they don't investigate. Lot of people will hate or love someone without reason, just because people told them to.

That terrorist in Quebec, like other terrorists, was like many other people, he had more far right opinions (especially online) but was educated and never mentioned that he wanted to use violence against anybody in real life, he was rather shy and a loner in RL. He was a troll, spent too much time on 4-chan maybe, called feminists feminazis like plenty of other people that we don't find that likable, but also stood with people against bullying at school because he used to be bullied himself. He didn't have friends really. Just like many other people online. What motivated him? We don't know, was it right leaders? Or online trolls? Or just lot of hate and frustration that he was carrying for a while? We still don't know but even him felt guilty after the fact.

Which bring me back to: please people, get informed, go see the world and experience. Listen to Marine Le Pen and then decide if it makes sense or not and why. Then we can debate on that without calling each other idiot, racist and all.
