ok so i just realized that nintendo announced a one off splatfest for the end of may... and i am SO excited!

i miss the splatfest music so much!!!

anyone else gonna be playing?

(also if any of u are still active let me know! i play ranked/salmon run regularly still)

i’m still torn on whether i want to pick mayo or ketchup, i could live without ketchup but also... what kind of life would that be?? ahh decisions!!

ahhh I can’t wait to be all cute with friends again in a splatfest. I’ll definitely be playing this. I would normally pick team ketchup (i’m sorry but I hate mayo so much ) but I’m just going to pick whatever team most of my friends want! If it’s mayo I’ll be going with that!

also OP I play SR a lot still too :’ ) although it’s the only game mode I play on splatoon now a days!

i will definitely be playing!!!!! team ketchup for sure. if ketchup wins i won't accept it as the true victor though.... i think splatfest results should be FINAL according to SPLATFEST LAW and mayo (disgustingly) won the first one

Ketchuuuuup! My first day of multiplayer was the first round of this Splatfest. It was a good thing I had nothing but mirror matches, because I did very poorly (but had fun!).

I don't even care if it's nothing but mirrors, I must defend Ketchup properly this time!! Except I need to play more Turf so I'm not total junk by next month... but Animal Crossing...

I remember playing in the original splatfest for mayo vs. ketchup, and I'm pretty sure I voted ketchup. I'm also sure that ketchup lost haha. I have a theory that they brought back this splatfest as they're also bringing back the testfire and a 7 day free online trial along with it, thus they're trying to gain more players and have an event to add to Splatoon's appeal.

Ahhh i'm so excited, I miss splatfests! I didn't experience this splatfest since I got it for christmas that year, so I'm excited to have a chance to play it!
