He never really said he was back for good.

And this was one of his badder videos.
his commentary greatly annoyed me (surprise surprise) I found myself rolling my eyes every few minutes
and he didn't fully understand the easter event i was raging at the screen i was like 'SHOOT DOWN THAT BALLOON YOU LIL ****'

I hope he can improve on future videos and possibly tone down the commentary and constant "WHAT"'s and random noises they really annoy me
 
I love his videos but for some reason he just didn't seem as enthusiastic in his last entry as he did before. Almost seems like he is a little ticked off that he was getting bugged so much for continuing the series while he was busy in real life or bored of the game. Maybe he lost interest suddenly and is doing this just for his viewers even though he doesn't want to play that much? He said he was going to keep making annoying puns now just for us (I know it was probably just a joke) but the tone in his voice made him sound like he was really irritated. I don't know about you guys but that is sort of how I took all of this. Probably just over-reacting.
 
Too all you eye rollers, I love how Josh plays the game. And for good reason!
If you want to know absolutely everything about NL and spoil it for yourself before you put hands on an actual cartridge watch LinandKo, their gameplay explanation videos are immaculate and highly detailed.
If that's what you want to see, don't watch Josh's vids and spare me your eye rolling, and complaining. And complaining and complaining and complaining.

If you want to see someone who like myself is going to get on NL and really have a brand new experience with the game, not knowing everything and still being happily surprised and even confused by some features, watch Josh's videos. Josh and LinandKo are very different in very, very good ways.
 
I have mixed emotions about this video. I loved all of his other videos, but this one seemed really forced. Like he tried too hard to add humor and "please" the people who kept bothering him. He also sounded very harsh on some parts of the video. For example when he went in his house and he was like "here's my house. I don't know why some of you wanted to see this so bad" and when he was talking about all the puns he would make. It's like he was saying you won, I made another video, but is ths even what you want? It could of been some of his sarcasm though. He didn't even really seem excited while making the video. I mean sure yeah he acted all excited but his voice was still kinda dull. The video still had its funny parts to it though. I really hope he makes another video so I can see what he acts like. If you think about its kind of like the over sensitive Josh in the comments replaced the bubble Josh that was in the other videos. IMO I think he should stop making videos if he's done with the game.

I watch both but i prefer Josh's videos due to the entertainment value. I know what's happening in-game as I play it myself. So watching someone just have fun even if they don't understand what is happening is quite amusing.
 
I also watch Josh's videos purely for his fun perspective on Animal Crossing. Who else could refer to Zipper T. Bunny as ghetto and street? (New name proposal in New Leaf: Zip Bunny Bun...). I wish I could be as laid back playing Animal Crossing as Josh is, rather than the "I gotta complete the collection...upgrade everything...catch everything...get every picture" obsessive player I usually become. I'm glad he's back, even if it's just for a little while.
 
I think a lot of you are assuming way too much. He hasn't made a video in a long while. The fact of the matter is, if he didn't want to continue making them, he wouldn't have made this one. Also, I don't know if many of you caught his whole "Easter marking the come back of the video journal" line he made near the beginning of the video. Sounds like he plans to make more.
 
I like that his videos are goofy and that he makes mistakes. Animal Crossing isn't about being perfect, it's about having fun in your town and I think that's exactly what he does in his videos.
 
This guy is a professional journalist and has his own website. Yes, he makes entertaining videos which the highlight of it was the New Leaf Journals. The guy acts like a jerk to his fans because of them wanting a particular series to continue. Some fans weren't being rude. So what you get asked a lot...that comes with the territory of being popular. You either ignore it or address it but do so in a professional way. He makes money off of the viewers.

So its kind of annoying that IGN gets a lot of flak for their reviews and are badmouthed by fans yet they don't even disrespect them like this guy does. It's really amazing that some people take this guy's side and attack others for not liking his attitude.

Yes it is and I tried to avoid posting in this one but that video and the defense for this is absurd. Not just here but in a small amount of other AC forums.
 
I think the 'pun line' wasn't meant as a harsh thing. I took it as a little jab but done in good humour.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion. I can't fault him for snapping at some annoying fans, I'd do the same thing. He's never been rude to me personally and I find his videos entertaining and engaging. And his humour definitely matches AC with all the bad puns.
