Me making a quilt/blanket thingy

I have free choice in textiles to make what I want, so I am making a sort of quilt/blanket thing.
I will take pictures and upload them here for feedback (because I want to know if I do a good job)
I am starting in 1 week. but I can but fabric and such now.

I'm aiming for about 8 shades of pink.

Make a "sprite" using fabric.

Basically, make little squares that represent pixels, and make a sprite.
I'd start out with Mario.

I would love to do that! But I am making this for my 6 month old cousin for Christmas. I might do that later.

Because people might give me ideas. Also I have started cutting my fabric!

Cut out about 500 :12cm x 12cm: squares out of the 1,000+ I need.

Her parents haven't heard of Nintendo (like I said, they thought Nintendo was a person...) And they're only 24 so they were brought up in the Nintendo era. But I will teach her all about it when she's older

Wow thats really cool! But like lots of people said try making nintendo charcters (Can't spell) when your done I'd really want to see a really "Yarn Kirby" , and be sure to post pics!
