Pokémon Meloetta vs Victini

Which one out of the two do you like more, Meleotta or Victini?

While I don't mind Victini and think that it has a cute design, I kinda like Meloetta more here. Mainly because I find the design elegant and the idea behind a music themed Pokemon quite neat. Although I must admit I prefer more Meloetta's Aria forme over the Pirouette forme.

Victini. Meloetta is nice and all, but the fact that it has to use a move in battle to change formes is kind of unappealing. When I first saw Victini I thought both its typing and design were great, and I love its signature move, V-Create. c:

I love Meloetta because it's cute and musical. Victini is also cute but I dig Meloetta's design more.

I would probably have to say that I prefer Meloetta. I've always liked its design, and the Relic Song gimmick allowing it to switch between Aria Forme and Pirouette Forme is fun. That said, I really hate how it was implemented. I would like Meloetta so much more if the Forme change stayed after battle and you could pick which Forme you prefer without having to effectively waste a moveslot if you would rather be using the Physical-inclined Pirouette Forme. If you could simply visit an NPC or special object out in the world (like Deoxys' meteorites) or if there was an item that you could use to change her Forme instead (like Kyurem's DNA Splicers or Shaymin's Gracidea Flower) then Meloetta would be among my absolute favorite Pok?mon, instead of what she unfortunately has always been for me: squandered potential.

I was originally going to go with Victini because of Meloetta's Forme Change blunder, but while Victini's fine in its own right, even despite all of Meloetta's flaws I prefer Meloetta.

I love both, but I went with Meloetta because I like it's design better and the fact it has two really unique forms. I do agree with ZombifiedHorror though, it really sucks that you just can't change its form and keep it that way and choose the form you like. I like both forms too by the way. As for Victini, I've always liked the way it looks too, but I just prefer Meloetta instead.

In battle? Victini without a doubt especially the event moves victini (IF I HAD ONE!) Overall though... victini is alright but I gotta go with meloetta on this one.

Meloetta has a cuter design imo, but I really like Victini! I remember the event in BW to get it was super memorable. And honestly, that's probably the big reason, right there. Man, I wish they'd bring back interactive events! I much preferred those to imputing a code and picking up your mythical from a guy in the pokemon center jsdklfjasdkl. But I guess that's a different topic haha.

I'd have to go with Meloetta. It was the first special distribution Pokemon I'd ever gotten and it helped me get through basically the whole of White 2, and I've transferred it into every game since. It just has an emotional attachment to me.

Meloetta has always been one of my faovrite pok?mons, so I have no choice but to choose her. I love her little song she sings in the anime.
