Hi all, I’m having some trouble finding the DIY materials to craft items from Celeste.

I’ve played ACNH everyday since release and I’ve never come across a meteor shower and I was just wondering if anyone else is in the same situation as me. 😕

I think it’s really strange as everyone else I know has had at least 2 meteor showers.

I'm sorry to hear that :c I get fallings stars almost every week, meteor showers not as frequent but I think I've had it 4 times
you could always visit other island that have Celeste over, she can give you a DIY there (it's always a new one too!)

Meteor showers have a low rate of occurring. I've had three since launch and my wife has had none. There are a lot of people who open their island up to other users during meteor showers. I recommend keeping an eye out here: https://www.belltreeforums.com/forums/the-airport-ac-nh-online.236/.

I’ve never seen a shooting star either and good idea! I’ll keep an eye on forums on here :)

Thank you! I’ll definitely keep a look out, I’m new to BTF so wasn’t sure if people opened their islands :)

Meteor showers are just very rare, if the guide book is correct, and I am reading this correctly.

Between April 11 and June 15th, there is only 1 shower that will happen. If it has already happened, you are out of luck. Showers can happen anytime from 7PM to 4AM. If the shower happened at 3AM, but you were sleeping, you are out of luck.

Between June 16th and July 5th, there will be 0 meteor showers.

Your best bet is to TT to February 24 and find one.

Shooting stars are very common in my town. I didn't notice them at first, but my ear has been picking up on the sound. I only found Celeste after what seems like a month, but when I play from 7pm to midnight I often hear that twinkling sound and can get it a few wishes. I think I might have had actual meteor showers in the last few days (no Celeste), but I had no heads up from Isabelle. I just noticed that instead of the usual 5-6 in a row they kept just kept on going. Then it stops and goes quiet for an hour (which is why I haven't opened up for visitors, what if it was just luck and people come over for nothing).
My advice is to keep looking up every so often in the evening. Know what they sound like and keep the volume on a level where you can notice, because you only have a second to look up and make a wish (make sure you aren't holding anything in your hands, putting away tools or accidently touching furniture is really annoying).
If it's regular shooting stars their's usually 5-6, with a slight wait between the first 2-3 and the last ones. It takes a lot of time though.
As for Celeste, if you can't find her like how I usually can't, keep looking at the boards here, there are others in the community who will let you visit when she's there and you can collect recipes. You can't get more than one/per day so keep that in mind too.

I've never had a meteor shower. However, I have had random spurts of stars.. Maybe 3 stars and then it's over hehe. It's kind of frustrating, but I'm not too mad since you can go to someone else's islands for it, and wishing on stars with other people is more fun anyway (for me)

I think I had 2 meteor showers between April 11 and June 15, but I also TT a fair bit (forgot to write down the date for one) so it could have just been silly me seeing the same meteor shower twice.

Wow that guide book looks amazing I’ll have to get one! Thank you for posting this :)

i don’t get falling stars, but maybe i’m not paying enough attention haha. i’ve had... two meteor showers (announced by isabelle) since release

And just like that Isabelle told me to look out for a meteor shower tonight. I guess it's random when she tells you, pretty sure the ones I had on Monday and Tuesday were meteor showers too.

I, too, have never had a meteor shower... Two nights ago was the first time I really had any shooting stars, but it was a max of say 10? and that was it. Which was nice still.
Happy that a couple times I have been able to go to to someone else's island for a meteor shower.

I strongly believe that there are fixed meteor shower dates depending on the island, even if you TT. I was TTing quite a bit but I always found one on May 31st, even if I was going over the week reset of Sunday and Mondays.
