So usually when a villager moves out I make sure to order their poster as a commemorative thing of having had them on my island. However I didn’t realise until too late that Queenie hadn’t been to Harv’s island‘s photo thing with me before so her poster wasn’t available!

So my question - if I were to buy the poster from someone on here, would the photo still show up in the same special section of my catalogue and be reorderable, exactly the same as the normally-obtained villager posters? Or does it work differently if you bought the poster online rather than obtaining it by taking the villager to Harv’s island for photos?

Hope this makes sense, thank you for any help!!

No sadly. They used too but now they made it so villager posters are NOT catalogable... :( So unless you have their amiibo I am sorry friend :(

I think it was like version 1.5 that made them no longer catalogable unless YOU invite them to Harvey's.

It won’t be catalogued but if you want a Queenie poster I can order one for you.

In 2020 it was possible to catalog villager posters but since then they patched it out. I'm sorry but if you want to get a villager poster then you will have to re invite the villager back to your island or use their amiibo card at harvs island to make the villager poster appear in your catalog.

That's what happened to me. I didn't think much of Harv's Island until I heard about the posters. By that time, Diana, Stu, and Monty left. I was able to invite Diana through help from here and I encounters Stu on an island. I just need to see Monty next. What I do is that the day the new villager arrives, I head straight to Harv's to place them in the house then head back to town to get their poster in the menu.

PS: I didn't think of displaying my posters in the order they arrived to my island until a few more villagers left so a few are not in order. The posters used to be on my second floor along the far wall. I then decided to show them in the main room on the first floor but display them on all the walls. I'm probably not going to be able to display villager posters along all the walls since I do have a list of dreamies. However, I'm thinking about inviting villagers I had in my prior AC towns, those that I had on my prior dreamie list, as well as my favorite animal types until I have invited all my dreamies.
