Missing Update Features

Wonder why I don't have it. Is it a prereq to have the others unlocked first maybe?

It only appeared for me once I bought all the remaining hairstyles. So yes, I think you need to buy all the previous ones first and then it shows up right after!

For anyone having issues with the update!

To unlock Kapp’n & most other features, you need a 3 star island

To unlock Harv’s island, you need to have done one photo shoot and completed photopia tutorial. He'll send you a letter in the mail the next day.

To unlock Brewster, you need to have an upgraded museum, donated art, AND donated one sea creature

Yeah, you're right. I'm just bummed, seeing ppl w stuff I can't get/do.

You shouldn’t This game isn’t a competition and you are likely to spoil it for yourself by rushing. Crazy to do so in Animal Crossing of all games. Ultimately play it as you like but I don’t think anyone should be rushing to get to content. That’s like rushing to best a game.

My girlfriend had the same problem and was really upset, it turned out, granted you have all of the initial requirements to unlock these things. TT to a new day fixes everything! I hope this helped anyone who didn't have any answers!
