MONEY!

Yeah sure, even though there are threads about this in the Guides and Research forum.
Anyway.
A good way to make money is fossils.
There are a few a day to dig up, then just take them to blathers in the museum and ask him to check them, then go and sell them to Tom Nook.
Don't sell them before you have checked them or they're worthless.
Another way is fishing. Just buy a fishing rod for 500 bells (Or cheaper if you're a silver point member in nooks or above) and get fishing in the river, ponds or ocean!
There are many other ways to make bells also but you will find them out in your own time!

Jingle money. (Jingle the reindeer) Tom Nook sales them 12k a peice for furniture.

There are many guides and topics written in this community and even the internet that explains how you can earn Bells.

Here are some simply and brief methods:
+ Find fossils. Have the Museum Curator identify them for you. After that, take it back and sell it to Tom Nook.
+ Sell [foreign] fruit. You can either shake trees from your town and sell your native fruit to Tom Nook. Or you can ask a friendly member to invite you to their town where you can get their fruits and sell them to Tom Nook. Make sure that the fruit you sold isn't the same one from your town.
+ Go fishing. Can't get any more simple than that.
+ Collect shells. Not the best method yet still readily available.

Hope these help.

Usually I'd say use the Search Function, but I think it is still down for maintenance.

Use this method:
http://forums.the-bell-tree.com/single/?p=8110498&t=7098134

Or simply look in the Guides & Research Child Section of this section.

There are a lot of methods to earn Bells =P Some may be legitimate while some others are when you're convinced to practice the Dark Arts of Time Traveling, Hacking, Cheating, etc... However, the guardians of this forum only allow the Dark Arts of Time Traveling and nothing else =P

At least not publicly.

Edit:
Yay for my 100th Post.

There is a sort of cool way to make 8,100 a day.

Just go round and hit any rocks you see with a shovel, if when you hit one and a coin comes out keep hitting the rock and more comes out.
But be warned, each hit you take you're knocked back a little so the best thing to do is dig a hole behind you before you start hitting it.

that is what Tom Nook calls it on Sundays that it is closed
I'm pretty sure I read "Stalk Market" when I talked to him about the Prices of the Turnips.

Can someone confirm?

Selling turnips is the fastest way to make money
According to the data from my research (from guides and such), yes it is the fastest method of getting Bells ^.^

At least getting the first million shouldn't be a challenge ^.^

100 + 200 + 300 + 500 + 1000 + 2000 + 4000 = 8100.

unless you use a silver shovel, which gives you a chance to possibly double one or more of those amounts. :santagyroid:
