betsy’s first game on here (and maybe first game in general) was as mafia and she fooled literally everyone so she is perfectly capable of leading. i think we were all put in this cell for that reason

i honestly think it’s betsy and it’s just a town fighting between ace and ness. that’s how most D1s fights end up being
 
Final thoughts (assuming that RNG isn’t in my favor) are that Dan/Ace are probably town, y’all two will probably need to re-examine Betsy assuming one of you is still alive later. If it is one of Dan/Ace, pay attention to the way the slots are later. Of town is having a hard time figuring out who mafia is then you can guarantee at least one mafia dead if our cell gets to 2/4 alive.

Other than that atleast my death will let me focus on applying for scholarships lol. Y’all will like my monster 👍

As the four monsters debate in the waiting room the fleshy color that makes up the floors, walls, and ceiling rumbles and gurgles as it grows discolored. Something isn't sitting right in this building's stomach indeed. Lord Ineog's image appears from the flames once again and approaches the walls of the room and places his hand against it rather than looking at the group. He pats it, a look of concern on his face, "Please be patient my dear friend, you only have to tolerate it for another moment."

Lord Ineog turns to the group and looks at all four of them. Between Damniel being so difficult to deal with, Ness being cute and ferocious as can be, Ace clowning around, and Betsy being...massive and scary...it's hard to tell where this will go. But the time has come for them to make a choice, "Please announce your votes now. Who is the one in here who aims to destroy us monsters?"

Ace: "Ness!"
Betsy: "Ness!"
Damniel: "Betsy!"
Ness: "Betsy!"

Lord Ineog pets his chin and twirls his sharp beard around his finger, "Hmm. That doesn't sound like a consensus. Worry not. I have my own way of dealing with a situation like this one."

He presents a blank coin at those in the room. On one side the image of Ness magically engraves itself on the coin. He turns it around and on the other face, Betsy's form does the same. He puts on a wicked grin and then flicks the coin in the air, causing the object to scream as it spins around before landing on the demon's palm. He then slaps it onto his forearm and reveals it.

The moment he looks in Betsy's direction the giant eldrich abomination lets out a ghastly screech and wraps its tentacles around Lord Ineog's form, attempting to strangle and corrupt his very being. But the demon lord is a lord for a reason. With just a snap of his fingers the beast lets out one last ear-piercing noise, tentacles slapping all over the place and causing the room to groan, until all movement ceases. Ineog's image fades again and suddenly everyone in the room but Betsy is spat out into the hallway again.

Lord Ineog is still standing there with his cocktail and invites the three into the ballroom where they are free to enjoy the music, horrors d'oeuvres, and shocktails while waiting for everyone else to join the party.

Only an hour after the monsters were ushered into waiting room 1, the second group arrived and was put through the same process at the same time the first group was, in waiting room 2. Lord Ineog approaches each of them. There's only three monsters here and his gargoyle bat-driver comes in carrying a scary looking teacup. The demon lord approaches his servant and takes the cup of tea off the plate. Just before it reaches his mouth a little creature reaches out and slaps his lips, "O-oh...you're the fourth one. I see. Sorry about that."

Lord Ineog briefly follows them in the waiting room and with a wave of his hand a fleshy table appears from the floor so that this partygoer can comfortably debate with the other three. He then makes the same exact explanation he did to the first group, word for word, before walking out of the room and the doorway disappearing....

The Debate in Waiting Room 2 Begins. You have 47 hours and 19 minutes to decide on who to eliminate from the party before the waiting ends at 4pm EST on Sunday, 11/14.

As a gravestone is erected in the graveyard, a spectre of the recently killed partygoer appears above its headstone that reads:

As the unseen ghost floats towards the manor, summoning all the spiritual energy it can to whisper one last statement to the partygoers...


Haunt Mechanic Reveal!​


All players who are eliminated from the game are not given graveyard chat and instead have one last chance to have an impact on the game. At any point during the waiting room phases or the party phase (if it happens), an eliminated player can send the host one last post to haunt the players with. This post must be sent to the host via PM and not posted in the thread by the player. It can be as short or long as they want it to be. Once they spend their haunt only then are they added to a graveyard chat. Host will post the message to the thread as soon he sees it. If there's any delay due to him sleeping or being busy at work he apologizes to the ghost!

@BetsySundrop you may send me that PM any time you wish starting now.

And sorry room 2...you have 47 hours and 7 minutes*

THIS HASN'T HAPPENED YET BUT I WANT TO MENTION IT TO PREVENT IT FROM HAPPENING. DO NOT LIKE ANY POSTS OTHER THAN HOST'S IF YOU ARE NOT IN THE CURRENT ROOM. IT CAN AND WILL RESULT IN AN AUTO MODKILL WITHOUT WARNING AS IT COMPROMISES THE INTEGRITY OF THE SETUP. THIS NOTE WILL BE ADDED TO OP.
 
Right, so it's midnight here which is spooky and on point for the game but don't expect much from me until tomorrow. For now my plan is to ISO the last rooms actions tomorrow as soon as I can. I flip flopped a bit mentally looking at everything going on and now that the room has concluded I can get a more cohesive picture. There were a few pings along the way and I'll leave those out in the open for former room 1 players to mull on. This is flipless so I honestly have no idea how much value you can get from it besides me leaving a legacy of my thoughts.

Anyway, that's about ghosts of the past. Hello room 2.

2. Not too sure on this one, tbh. I haven't thoroughly read through the first cell and I was just skimming, but the whole Ness/Betsy rand really didn't have much solid evidence on either side. (if i was in the first cell i wouldn't have much info either tbh)

3. November 1st, 12:00 am you best believe my family is blasting christmas music. We don't set up a tree until around thanksgiving, though.

2. Do you think Betsy was mafia? Now sure how to judge yet. Would be interested to hear Betsy’s haunting last words.
3. How early/late do you celebrate Christmas? Not a huge celebrate-er of holidays, but I would say the Christmas spirit enters my soul upon the first peppermint drink of the season.
