Mood Swings

I'm almost a Teen. xD February I will. And I have Mood Swings a lot. One second I'm happy, the next I'm in an outrage.

yep. all the time. I take it out on whoever seems to be nearby, but it doesnt work so well. I listen to what people would call "emo music". It's cool...and you know that those freaks have it way worse than you, so you should just suck it up and move on.

I've all of the sudden disliked foods I used to love...I don't really know if thats a mood swing though...

Honestly they came onto me so slowly, as in both later teens...I was a little late for puberty, but also I mean that mood swings didn't just happen, they started at small swings and slowly got larger so I really hardly noticed. Of course I learned at a young age what a bad temper can do so I already new how to handle it a little. For me I like running or riding my bike, both for exercise and exploring. I have always loved wandering and it gets me in a good mood. you never know what you'll find. I found a nice little Chinese restaurant while wandering around St' Louis (a decent part of it :p)

Other ways include sitting down and thinking why do I feel a certain way, and still other times I just ride the mood( those are the good moods! Don't ride the bad ones

:p )

Don't worry about the mood swings. As you said, they're a natural thing to occur at your age, and the chances are you'll have to put up with them for quite some time.

As you've already noticed, sometimes they have a reason, and sometimes they don't. Stress and tiredness are generally a couple of the main plausible causes of the mood swings you might be experiencing, so... I'd just recommend sleeping.

:p Yup. There have been plenty of times where I've been able to recover from some pretty spontaneous low feelings just by having a good night's rest.

It's good that you've got some means of coping with the lows. However, try not to let yourself get... enveloped by the low points you might be experiencing over this time in your life. I guess it's important to try to remain positive.

Male PMS..?

Uhh... I'm betting you're stressed, you get stressed... I don't remember what that was like, I don't get stressed anymore. I suggest you stop caring, that fixes a lot of things, don't like, go all out emo, but just stop being sensitive about... stuff. I dunno. >.>

Really??? I'm starting to like the foods that I used to hate! Weird!

I have my mood swings, PMS-influenced or not.

What helps me is slistening to upbeat music, or "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" from Spamalot. (Don't ask. The whistling helps)

I try to stay upbeat, or if not, I break down and have a good cry. (Yes, I do that, rarely). That helps a lot.

Anyway, I haven't had many mood swings lately. They're part of puberty. What fun.

Go outside and enjoy fresh air. This especially works if it is humid outside, breating in the air is wonderful for bad moods. Or just sit down and write. About who knows what. Just get really into writing or reading or something like that. Or just come complain to me.

But there was this one time I got all mad and turned on the radio and Move Along was playing, and that was the first time i ever heard the song and it worked so well i just fell over 2 seconds later and laughed until i couldnt breathe.

I usually don't get mood swings, but when I do, I watch TV or draw... Just do something entertaining to get your mind off of it.

Well, any given episode of FG can offend someone one way or another...

But I love FG.

It's a part of life for 50% of the population, their husbands and children, and you, Bul!

Anyways, go for a run...like I said, they're really nice.
