I can't believe how incredibly comfy this game looks, and feels!
It makes me wanna cry because I just, I enjoy the relaxing aspect of this game so much, and watching all these direct footage videos just made me wanna play this game even more than before!
(the police cap is back and I couldn't be happier, the police cap, shirt and tiny shades was my main look in wild world and city folk so seeing one of those items back is filling me with so much happiness, I hope the tiny shades are back too, I LOVE them)
Also, did anyone notice that we do have, in fact, animated wallpapers now?

That's nothing to worry about. Nintendo isn't playing hours per day, 7 days a week. They have several different save files too. That is just a showcase save.
Looks like Neechan was right. Gulliver isn't in a space suit so we're not collecting UFO parts after shooting it down - we're collecting phone parts. So I wonder what the UFO will be about then?

Calling a Haori a dress is pretty insensitive. It isn't a dress. It is traditional Japanese clothing designed for males.

I'm an Australia guy, not Japanese, so wearing a kimono is not one of my customs, and there is really no need to start something over my personal preferences in how I want to dress in-game.
I wouldn't tell anyone else what they should wear.

I think John's specifically talking about hakama. That's the bottom half of a traditional men's Japanese outfit. There's 2 kinds of hakama (including for men), the type that's essentially a long skirt, and another that's split into pants/trouser-type legs. The latter kind was mostly made for horse riding and fighting (samurai would put their armor over top of their clothes).
I don't know why even the skirt-type would be "dresses" though. It actually covers more than a kilt, and I've never seen people call kilts girly.
