More than 20 days Stung. Villagers give Medicine Bag. No DIY.

3 months ago Player 3 was created the day before the 2.0 Update Animal Crossing Direct.
She plays every day and talks to all the villagers. Collected all 10 photos and has high friendship.

Late December noticed that the Medicine DIY recipe wasn't there so I started trying to get it.
Each day there was space in her pockets, got stung and talked to the Sister villager first. Sister villager and other villager give medicine and no DIY recipe.
Day 1 Sister gave medicine.
Day 2 Sister and 3 villager gave medicine.
Day 3 Sister and 5 villager gave medicine.
Day 4/ 5 Sister and 3 villager gave medicine.
Stopped keeping track but got medicine each day from one of the villagers. Days Sister villager didn't give medicine was days she was crafting or stick. Tried getting stuck twice and unlocked the Nook Miles. Tried getting stuck, taking the medicine and than getting stuck again. Tried Katrina and max friendship with Sister villager.

Both Islands were created in March 2020. The other 6 players had no problems getting the DIY medicine recipe. Is this a 2.0 glitch?

I asked around. Someone said to try and check Nook's Cranny since they apparently sell this recipe in there now. I cannot guarantee this 100%, but tell her to check it out.

I play all Players on both Islands and Daisy has learnt all the Nook's Cranny DIY recipes in the cabinet. Just checked again to see if Daisy could buy them and Timmy said all of those have been learnt. The Pitfall seed DIY was added in the 2.0 update. Medicine DIY wasn't there.

Posted on Gamefaqs and someone posted that they tried multiple times and had no luck. It's been over 2 months of playtime.

Maybe the plan was to add it to Nook's Cranny and the devs forgot or it's a glitch?

I haven't found any other solution other than getting the recipe from a different player. The Medicine recipe item can exist as a card. You could try asking around the Nook's Cranny.

Has your player picked up the wasp nest? Its been so long that I don't remember if the trigger was the nest or the sisterly villager seeing you stung. You also could have gotten the recipe and misses it. Did you sort your diy alphabetical and check?

Yes I got stung near a villager and it didn't help. I've picked up the wasp nest after getting stung and that didn't help.
Late December I sorted all of her DIY in Alphabetical order and checked them with my other island main players completed DIY. That's when I noticed it was missing.
