amiibo Festival More than just a board game....

Just in case no one noticed. When they were going over their favorite characters and the lady on the left said that her favorite character was Lopez and he moved out, but to get him to move back in she was going to make her town look good... WHAT A NOOOOB! She doesn't get how the purgatory villagers work and that she would have to get rid of a stack of villagers to get her villager back. What is this?! Amateur hour?

She said that one of her villagers moved out and in order to get it back she would make her town clean and hope it came back. She didn't know that your town has to cycle through 16 villagers before it can come back regardless of how clean it is. She won't be getting that villager back anytime soon...

I'm just saddened that this game looks like a HD'd Animal Crossing New Leaf, like, it looks exactly the same... I wanted them to atleast get rid of the rolling log effect, make the sky beautiful and stuff, make cool looking shadows and all that next gen graphics stuff.

knowing nintendo, I doubt this'll happen even on the NK...
have you seen their most anticipated game, start fox zero? how dare they mistreat my foxxie with such shameful visuals?! and I ain't even a graphics whore :/

Let's be honest guys, this entire game is based around sheer luck. If the put in something interesting that actually takes skill then, eh. It might be a sub par game.

I feel like I haven't seen enough of this game to judge it as being bad so I'm happy there's another mode! I wonder if it is a minor mode, like a minigame, or something major like a whole other way to play. I also wonder if this could mean more game modes than just these two? The speculation is real...

^I'm guessing, seeing as we've heard it will be a free to play game which requires amiibo, that each amiibo will unlock one mode. - But maybe this is just wishful thinking. I imagine if that is the case all 8 would be variations of board games though, and if there's only like 3-4 modes they'd all be more fleshed out.

We know the game requires amiibo to work; I thought it was just to play as that character though.
It would be interesting yet also slightly annoying if I had to buy each amiibo to unlock the full game. I don't think there will be 8 modes but I do think it's plausible for there to be different maps based on the amiibo you scan in.
