Most Iconic New Horizons Hourly Theme

Yes. I was inspired by Kemdi to make this. What do you think would be the most iconic New Horizons Hourly Theme

I have the 8 AM theme permanently etched into my memory. Not because I especially like it or anything, but due to a combination of the fact that it's around the time I would play the game most often and the repetitive nature of the tune. The track has but one hook and while it's not a bad piece of music, it gets very little mileage out of it before retreading back to the loop point. It's honestly kind of maddening.

My petty grumblings aside, when I think of New Horizons, the track that first comes to mind is probably 9 AM. If for no other reason, it's the one I often hear accompanying YouTube videos completely unrelated to Animal Crossing.

I find the music still not very good and I tend to play on silent the majority of the time. However, when I first started, I had volume up all the time.

It's hard to choose just one because for me, it depended on the time of day I was playing.

It's so hard to narrow it down. I'm going to go with 12pm though. It feels more iconic.

i like new horizons’ ost. it’s not my favourite in the series, but i like the majority of the hourly tracks. my favourites are the 12am, 2am and 6pm tracks. i tend to like the nighttime and early morning tracks more than the day ones; they’re always so calming to listen to. :’)

in terms of which track i think is the most iconic, they’re all iconic in their own ways, but i’d say either 1am, 2am or 12pm. they just have classic animal crossing vibes imo, and 12pm was used a lot in the trailers and advertising for the game.

This is one of the saddest things about the series to me—when I think of animal crossing music my mind goes straight to the opening theme from Wild World. New Leaf I can remember too, and also really enjoyed. But after almost three years of consistent play, I still can’t actually summon up the acnh soundtrack in my mind unless I was just playing. Something about it feels so flat and unmemorable to me.

You're right. I can instantly recall the title theme for each of the other AC games, but this morning, I couldn't recall the title theme to ACNH as much as I tried. Had to go look it up.

maybe im the only one but 9AM is my favorite morning song. I have quite literally been changing my actual sleep schedule earlier so i can start my day with that tune. The "do-do-doo, do-do-do-DOO" melody is so catchy to me (you probably didn't hear that lol), and that long part with the bongos where it sorta chills out... So good!! also it's iconic i think

Well, it's more which theme is more iconic, rather than which theme is your most favorite. Also, I think they ran out of poll options. Probably could have removed some of the AM hours.

Well in my personal opinion I think the 6 PM music is iconic because it gives you that feeling of feeling relaxed after a hard days work.

I think 2pm is the most iconic, not because it's anyone's favorite or superior in any kind of objective way, but because I'd bargain that a majority of players know that hourly music if nothing else lol
