Mario Most overrated or overhated Mario Kart tracks?

I know a lot of people will disagree with me on this, but I hate Baby Park. Driving on a bland, tiny oval several times while being bombarded with way too many items isn’t fun. It really is all about being lucky enough to not get hit by too many items. The appeal of Mario Kart for me is the mix of luck and skill and that track just throws all of that out of the window.
On the other hand, Neo Bowser City is pretty underrated in my opinion. The music is catchy, the rain effects are gorgeous in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and the turns are tricky and satisfying to pull off.

SNES Rainbow Road is not interesting to me. It has pretty aesthetics but as a track I don't care to play it online as often as it's picked. I'd like for it to move over so we can get another Rainbow Road next time.
Rosalina Ice World has grown on me. It might get a rep for "Ice Track = Annoying" but I think ice space worlds are nice visually and the track doesn't do anything overly annoying.

I feel that Moo Moo Meadows and Baby Park were highly overrated. But I wish there was more love for Bone-Dry Dunes.

I agree with you here - there are "better" Rainbow Roads from later consoles.

I think the most overrated course is Excitebike Arena. It commonly gets picked way too often, no matter where you are in the online format.
I can't understand how you guys would like such a thing, it's just a long oval with ramps you have to do 3 times, there's nothing special about it...
I think the most overhated is Toad Circuit. Yes, it's just one of your average beginner tracks which I can understand why player's don't like it, but that doesn't stop me from liking it. Sure I didn't like it in Mario Kart 7, but when the BCP happened it really grew a lot on me! The music is such a banger as well, why wouldn't I pick it?
An honorable mention to the most overrated would have to go to Coconut Mall. I mean it's beloved by many, but I don't have beef with it.
And an honorable mention to the most overhated will go to Sky High Sundae. I seriously don't understand the hate on this one. You only hate it because it's an exact copy of Excitebike... I'm sorry, but WHY!? This track is an oval yes, but it actually has a better layout which I love and you guys are beefing on it? That's just sickening...

I actually.. kinda agree with excitebike being an overrated course. It's baby park but not as fun really.

i’ll say it, I think Baby Park is overhated!! yes it’s a stupid track that requires all luck and no skill and I think that’s the fun in it for me. It’s a ‘get thrown in a small enclosure and fight to survive’ kind of track, it’s so unserious and frustrating at the same time. I get the hate for it in a competitive sense because it’s so random, but I like that it’s a track I can turn off my brain to for a moment. also baby park OST slaps like come on.
and yeah, excitebike arena is overrated. my main is good w that track but otherwise it’s very boring. i agree it’s like baby park but it’s big enough to spread out the players so it’s not a ‘random BS go’ type of track.

Moonview Highway, Daisy Circuit, and Mount Wario are my personal favorite underrated tracks in Mario Kart games. I love the music for all three of the tracks that I mentioned.
Coconut Mall may be "overrated", but I still love that track to bits all the way to the funny concept of driving through the mall. It's the track that's been stuck with me for years.

I'm sure it's because Sky-High Sundae doesn't feel like a Mario Kart track at all and some sections of the track are poorly designed at best. Squeaky Clean Sprint had better design and layout.

I do think Baby park is really funny as a casual course but during competitive mario kart sessions in TBTWC i can definitely see why people don't like it.
Also when we have Baby Park multiple times in a row, sometimes I just wanna play something else

Personally, I feel the Wii version of Rainbow Road is over-hated. It frustrated me at first, but I enjoy the music and the design. It's a fun challenge for sure.

I think that Maple Treeway is overrated lol. I liked racing on it while playing Mario Kart Wii as a kid/teen, but there were a lot of other tracks I liked more. I never understood all the hype. if anything I thought it was a bit annoying because of how easy it is to fall off, and also the bouncy wigglers on that one part of the track.
with that said, I know people talk a lot about Coconut Mall, but I personally don't think that one is overrated, because I think the layout of the track and the immersion are really cool.

We hatin on Baby Park in 2024??? If anything, I don't like modern Baby Park because it's not the chaotic Gamecube version with no rails and giant Bowser shells bouncing all over the course LOL
But I feel like DK Summit is a lil' overrated, I'd rather race on Mt. Wario any day, now that's a top tier snow course
and as mentioned above.. I despise Excitebike. It was so cool when the first DLC dropped on the Wii U, but you're just spamming trick in a straight line and not to mention if you get hit while going up a trick hill in a tight race, you fall behind bad

I'm on the "Baby Park is overrated" train I fear... I wouldn't say I truly despise any course, but there's definitely tracks I dislike and I never understood the popularity with that one since I find it boring yet insanely chaotic LOL. Boring because it's quite literally just a loop and well, the chaos part speaks for itself kdgkfgk.
