Most unusual food you've ever tried?

i tried snails when i was somewhere between the ages of 11-13 and was a fan of them at the time. unsure if i would still like the taste, not had them since then

Horse meat. I've only eaten it once. The meat is kinda... hard. It tastes like normal beef though.
I heard its super tough, which makes sense since horse muscles are so lean.

Apparently there's some kind of cheese that people bake and leave on their window sill so flies can hatch maggots inside of it. And its considered a delicacy. Sounds gross. I was reading about unusual food and I guess I went too far down the list. So I read some things that were quite disgusting lol.

Probably alligator meat from Gatorland, FL. I had gator nuggets, & yes, it tastes like chicken. 🐊

Baby octopus.. I really really did not want to eat it but I didn't want to offend my ex's parents

I've somewhat considered trying kangaroo meat since I see it for sale in the grocery store all the time 🤔 But I think if I bought it I would 'chicken out' and end up throwing it away

A friend let me try a piece of a side order he had, which was crocodile (or alligator ; I can’t remember which) meat (I forgot how they cooked it). It was pretty good!
