My most recent project was Renee's house; her favorite furniture was an outhouse, a vending machine, and a bicycle. So I decided I wanted to make her house sort of have a concept like a city lot or dump site or something, that someone was trying to fix up to be nice

I'm checking out your design right now and here's what I think:

First, I really like how you looked at the items she required you to use for her house as her favorite furniture and you worked with them as part of the theme; I honestly, never viewed the items that I un-box as that (I don't know why I never did) and I don't often end up keeping the items that the villager has me use when I start designing their house for the first time. Ways to improve the room: Color consistency ~ I think some of the colors that you used clashes with the wallpaper (perhaps the pink and green; also, I'm a bit iffy on the brown color of the cardboard box sofa even thought cardboard boxes do fit the construction site theme). If you tried using the closed road floor, maybe the cardboard box sofa would fit better because there are some brown spots. Maybe change the color of the item or replace them with something of a more neutral color like silver or gray. I see where you're trying to go with the room and I do like it. I can tell you put a lot of thought and effort into it; I like the placement of the items and how you filled the room without making it cluttered. Note, I'm just giving you some suggestions; you don't need to listen to anything I said. What matters most is that you're happy with it and you like it :]. I just wanted to give you some input in case you were looking for some suggestions on how to improve it.

Yup lol. I honestly like Frobert a lot now after having designed his house, in spite of the fact he might need help in becoming less infatuated with Gracie. lol. I don't think I even knew he existed until HHD. (Sorry, Frobert. ><).

Here's my challenge entry; I based it relatively loosely on the movie, Ant Man, which I watched last night for the first time. I didn't try to remake the building/rooms exactly as how it was in the movie because I wanted to make the room a little more interesting than I think it would have ended up looking had I tried to be more "accurate."

No, I like getting feedback! I don't usually edit houses after uploading them though since then you have to delete the project D; But thank you so much for the thoughtful suggestions!
