So I recently found out they're re-adapting Pet Sematary in 2019. I am SOOO pumped because that was one of my first Stephen King books and I loved every page of it. I also own the original film and it's one of the greatest King films in my opinion. I'm also pumped for the Doctor Sleep film because The Shining and Doctor Sleep are some of my favourite books ever. I'm just genuinely so excited for more Stephen King films. He's had a really good run lately.
Other movies I'm really excited for are:
The LEGO Movie 2;
Manson Murders (I love the Charles Manson and Manson Family case, so it's kinda obvious I'd be excited for it);
My Friend Dahmer (it's released in the US but not here in Australia);
IT Chapter Two (I'm not seeing in it cinemas though. The people in the cinema really ticked me off when I saw the first one; some even exclaimed that "Wow! There's a SECOND one?!" Like...do you not know the book exists and that it's 1.3k pages long? Smh);
Spider-Man: Homecoming 2;
Jurassic World 2;
The Incredibles 2;
and Fantastic Beasts: The Crime of Grindelwald (although I cannot deny that they're milking the HP series).
A movie I really was excited for was Maze Runner: The Death Cure, because I loved how they branched the film series off on different story that wasn't exactly related to the books. The biggest problem with novel-adapted films is that they try to be EXACTLY like the book and typically fail miserably. Sometimes they don't but a lot of the time they do. But yeah, I loved the movie. The death of one of my favourite characters was incredibly sad and I legit almost cried in the cinema lol ...
But yeah, what are some movies you're definitely going to see in cinemas?
