So I make amigurumi almost daily (well, I work on them daily, but don't always have things finished right away) and I run an etsy shop. I don't know what to do with all of it even though they're so cute. Here's a sample of what i like to make: (warning: pictures are huge lol)

My shop name is NauticallyAmi because I love making sea creatures and sailor/sea themed things like octopi and whales. Right now I'm working on a sailor duck.

Yeah, they're black plastic safety eyes. They have washers in the back and so they're never going to come out.

These are adorable! How did you learn it, just by experimenting or books/internet?

I learned to crochet and knit from books in elementary school, and just a few months ago I learned how to crochet balls and other shapes and I already knew how to sew things together. I have a book on amigurumi, but there's a technique called magic circle that they didn't explain very well and so I just used youtube and then I caught on quickly.

OMG I ABSOLUTELY LOVE AMIGURUMI
my grandma used to do them all the time, she was meant to teach me when I was young, but she never did.

Youtube is a great resource for learning things like this. I can point you to some videos I've used in the past to help me learn if you want.

Hmm, I think I'd like to see a sea turtle that's in its walking position (on its belly. It's not like we see turtles on two feet, lol). That would be so cute.

I love these, so pretty! *___* I've been trying to learn crocheting from my mom but I couldn't pick it up because I'm left-handed ;__; It was hard for me to move my wrist accordingly, which is why I have a huge respect for people who can crochet!

They're great! I can't crochet at all, but I'd like to try. Would you mind posting links to some of your fave youtube tutorials or lessons?

Sure :)
You can learn the basics in this series of videos.
I just included part one because you can find the next one in related videos and there are A LOT of videos from her. You can learn magic circle too, which is an adjustable ring that you crochet off of to start making round pieces like heads and legs. She gives tutorials for both hands.
Also, I hold the crochet hook a completely different way than most people do and I don't think it matters a whole lot. The methods she gives might lessen the stress you put on your hand. It's also not totally necessary to wrap the yarn around your hand or anything like that. I just hold my yarn up in one hand without wrapping it. Hopefully these videos are helpful!
Part 1

For left-handers, here's how to do the same things:
