My Animal Crossing game is downloading an update right now.

mine didn't automatically update, you have to have ACNH selected, press + and update manually.

It's massive. Can't see the size but I'm on very high speed internet, takes 20 minutes to download and update the software. On Reddit someone with slow speeds said their projected time was 15 hours keg

I can't see the size unfortunately since I finished downloading it, it's really big. The previous updates took less than 3 mins for me to download, this one took 20 minutes to download and update the software.

To update manually just go to the home screen, hover over the Animal Crossing icon then press +, select Software Update then press Via the Internet to download

I got way behind and was playing some spring and summer events when I did the download. It did not cause a problem.

I can confirm - update 2.0 has been downloaded (10 minutes) and istalled. DLC is not active, but I'm not surpised.

So, I had two updates. The first one asked me to free some space as it was around 3gb

Then I archived some games and started to download the update. After it concluded, I saw another update bar on the game's icon, so it got me thinking. I have pre-ordered the dlc, so maybe that second download is the paid dlc?

For those who didn't buy the dlc, did you notice if you had a second download?
