I think it’s unique that your characters are mixed (also, love that Liam is blonde hair and blue eyes and half Japanese ). What about their parents? How did Penny end up on that island? It would be cool if you developed a story on how they met. Then, having some kind of backstory would solidify your characters further.

well... penny & her family lived in Crescent town *new leaf* , when her little brother, liam was about... um.. 8 years old... (penny is 14 in NH, sooo... hmm... she'd be 10 in NL, maybe) , so liam, by the time penny goes to glowgate island *NH*, he'll be about... hmmm.... 13, maybe)


penny became best friends with maple & june *yeah, i found out that maple & june are in NL :3 *

That’s pretty good so far. Writing a story doesn’t take overnight, so it’s best to experiment and write your ideas down. Some ideas work, others don’t. But as you keep writing, you’ll eventually start putting all of the pieces together.

i decided to just have her have her pet hamster, mikan.... cause she loves hamsters :3

a bit of backstory: when she was little... she went to a aquarium with her parents & saw a lot of pretty fish..she really liked that part of it... but then she saw a fish that she thought was scary....

that's probably why she's afriad to dive in the water....








she wants to research fish & cute bugs for the musuem & outside of the musuem... but she still won't be the type of girl to go fossil hunting & uncute bug hunting...

she wants to research flowers too... which could be part of the reason why she wants a flower shop... :3

you know... if i ' were ' to do her brother, Liam.. he'd need to have his own island, so he could come visit her island.. & the other way around too...

I'd like to include him.. but I probably wouldn't be able to do it on my own, though.... maybe someone could roleplay as him for me, if they have a switch lite?


although, this won't be for ages... as I want to focus on my main, first, NH playthrough first

he's only a little older then penny, only by a year....


he's quite sporty, as he likes playing basketball, football & table tennis... although, penny seems to like table tennis a little bit...

he wants to research fish, bugs *while penny is afraid of some bugs* & fossils *while penny isn't interested in them*....

he can also dive & can swim pretty well, *while penny is kinda afraid to dive, *unless she has her diving mask* & can swim a little bit... * so if she needs him, he'll come & get whatever is there, under the water, for her...





thing is, though, neither of them have interest in paintings...
so that part of the museum on both of their islands 'might 'stay empty....
