He says the day after planting the tree he cant do anything and I keep saying you need to get 100 points on doing deeds for the town he says he wants a little more proof so can you guys post this is right if not tell me.

Can't do "anything" is a bit vague.
Depends what hes trying to do.

If you want to do community projects yes you need 100 mayor points (which you can check by sitting in the mayors chair) first.

All the other stuff will start to unlock after a few days like the island / upgrades to the village so for now its more just making money and if your have too much money or prefer, upgrading your house while you wait. Which is fine since once you start getting community projects, you will need money.

Yea I think he said somethnig about a option

Ik the others like th CLUB is random like the CAFE and SHAMPOODLE and Island is a few days after starting the game

The Cafe and Shampoodle is far from a "few" days, unless you time travelled. For Cafe to show up, you need to at least have the Museum's second floor expansion, and i believe Shampoodle is conditional upon Shoe Shanks. Club is not so random too. You can get island after you paid for the first house mortgage (10k + 39.8k).

He may start doing community projects after accumulating 100 mayoral points (by helping out your villagers, planting trees, pulling out weeds, etc etc) and own a house in town (not the tent).

Okay 100 points.

The game starts with you arriving in the town and the villagers mistaking you for the new mayor that they thought was arriving. You didn't know one was supposed to come, but they think it's you.

They realize that the new one isn't coming and since you're the only that arrived, it may as well BE you. So they take a survey on how you'd do as their mayor. They want you to do everything you can so that everyone will rate you enough points to average 100 on their survey.

Once you do, you become the actual official mayor and will be able to do everything that the mayor is supposed to be able to do.

and that's how this game starts.

So as always in every AC you have things to do in the beginning. In the previous games, it was earn enough money to be able to afford your house and to do so you have to get acclimated with how the game is played and how to play it. This game is no different, you do these things to get acquainted with the new features and the new things the game has to offer.

Easy enough to understand? Good. Now go get that 100 points!
