As a project for my Media 1 book project, I did a review for Hamlet. Let's just say, I didn't take it seriously.

I always worried about Shakespeare and the things he wrote. If my mom saw me writing things like what he wrote in plays like Hamlet and Macbeth, I would be going to weekly therapy sessions. Anyways, today I will be reviewing Hamlet, which is not a funny loving story about a piece of walking pork. Enjoy!

Hamlet is about a dude who has psychic abilities that come to him in a form of his dead daddy. Crazy or not, hamlet communicates with this form that warns that he has been killed by definitely not uncle Joey, Claudius. Claudius is now married to Hamlet’s mommy, which is a very desperate move on her end. To prove his evil uncle killed his father, he decided to put on a show that resembles the murder of his father. After the show, Pork Chop realized Claudy Laudy reaction to the play was very suspicious. Then everything spiraled out of control! People got poisoned, there was a funeral, and I need a Tylenol right now. In the end, the evil uncle was killed and hamlet decided to give the throne to someone else.

Hamlet was an O.K. story to read during english class but It’s not something I would read again unless shoved down my throat by another teacher. I do admit, I love shakespeare works but this classic just wasn’t my cup of orange flavored Kool-Aid. The play scene didn’t have puppets, Macbeth was missing from this episode, and everything ended in blood and guts.

If I had to rate this book, I will give it a 2.5/5. That is as high as I can count.

Opinions, thoughts, coupons? Feedback would be nice.

honestly it's not very good, your word choice is kind of stale and first grader like, your sentences dont flow smoothly, and it's not that funny for something that's supposed to be. even if you want it to be a joke as you said you didn't take it seriously, you could have executed it a lot better. you also have some capitalization errors in there. sorry

edit: i guess by it's not funny, i mean to say it's not clever

Do realize, that this isn't a serious project and it's not for any sort of English nor a required elective in my state. It is for my Media 1 class or in other words, a side project to do while running the main desk and putting up books in the media center (or library).

The assignment was to create a book display. I had to pick a theme (so I choose Shakespeare), find 8-12 books that fit that theme and list them, and provide a review for at least one of those (I choose hamlet) and it has to be at least one paragraph.

I didn't have to take it seriously as the paragraph is an opinionated review, not a summarized review. My teacher and my other 2 teachers that thought it was funny and was good.

That being said, it's not supposed to be serious. All in good fun.

yeah the last line was prob the only thing i liked about it
btw antonio in ur reply to me telling me to acknowledge certain things, i had already acknowledged said things, like literally, in my original post. but im glad ur teachers liked it. nice.
