For some reason it keeps double clicking when I click once. Anyone know what's up with it?

It's really annoying because I can't highlight anyhting properly, and when I click a window it does other things...

Hrm.....
Turn your computer off and turn it back on.
If that doesn't work.

1. Turn off your computer.
2. Unplug the cord that connects the mouse into the PC.
3. Turn it back on.

If not I'm stumped.

It's been like this for about a week and I have tried unplugging it.

I think its time for a new mouse.. better look for mouse traps...

Try blowing it or something.

The mouse was pretty expensive... and it's new. But yah, I have tried blowing in it.

:P I'm going to try doing it more though.

Don't get too technical on us.

:P

Anyway, disassembly would probably be your best bet. Have a prod about, and see if any contaminant is causing the problem.

I think it started working now... for some reason.

But now Firefox isn't working right. >_< It blocks any pop-up, even if I allow them for that site- and it doesn't say when a pop-up comes up.

oh i can top that.

my computer will randomly start lagging whenever it feels like it, the CD drive repeatedly tries to find CD's, because its special.

also, if your mouse starts acting weird again, you have a broken clicker, mine did that, my old mouse, i've gotten a new one since then... but yeah you may have to replace the clicker inside... sometimes they get old fast.

You should have seen my old computer.

Try unplugging stuff and plugging them back in. If you had a scroll problem then I could help you there. My mouse has a ball in it and it sometimes won't scroll slowly, so I kept trying to figure out what it was and it was all this crap on the little wheel/cylinders inside the mouse and I just use my nail to get the crap off.

Yah, those are so old. :barf:

Mine has the little red light.

:D

Mine too

:)

You could go to the control panel and click on the mouse icon. Maybe something is screwy in there. thats what I would have done first. Or your clicker is broken. Or your mouse is playing games on you

:P

Yeah, of course they do. So long as you keep them clean, they're better than an optical mouse, in my opinion. Of course, I'm too lazy to clean things, so I just keep my ball mouse as a backup.

*Is Using One Right Now*

I don't see the big deal about those laser-light mouse things. Sometimes, the first is the best.

You know you can disable pop-up blocking on Firefox entirely, right?
