He's right, And for some reason, I find it kinda plain....

Well all he did was use default photoshop brushes on a black background and added some text, it's not exactly the hardest thing to do.

Lol idk where to get new brushes tough

Google. It's not too hard. Try adding more than just brushes to it, though. Experiment with filters, lighting, gradients, etc.
