Soooo. A couple of months ago, I got the fountain for my town, but the person that comes out of the fountain {forgot her name} just keeps giving my normal axe back when I throw it in my fountain. I always do the correct sayings, but no matter what, I just keep getting it back. I've been trying, trying trying, trying, and trying. Did I mention I was trying?

Anyway, is there a ''secret'' thing that I need to do? Is there only a right time to throw your normal axe in? Lemme know. I've been looking up YouTube videos, but the same correct answers just ended up me getting my axe back. Me is frustrated.

You need to be really lucky to get it. It's all about the luck.

I've been trying to get it for more than a year. :/

I guess I'll keep trying. Must have did about 15-20 times (being accurate).

There's an axe guide on ACC that's supposed to have the right answers to getting a golden/silver axe.

So far, I've earned 5-7 silver axes, but I've never seen a golden axe.

I found the guide on the wiki helpful in the sense it made me try alternative answers.
The wiki guide is worth a look. http://accf.wikispaces.com/Serena

Try all possible answers, some which you think would get you nowhere, get you at least further questions off Serena.

There are no correct answers, whether you get a metallic (silver/gold) axe or not is mainly random.
With about 40 weeks of trying I've got around 7 silver and 1 gold. I do try most days, sometimes with more than one character.
My overall impression is, it is random.

After doing it about 70 times (I spent all day, literally) I never got it, so I just had one of my friends clone me one.

I did some very rough maths (40 weeks trying, 8 metallic axes approx 1.8 tries a day (some days I tried with more than one character, other times not) and it works out a metallic axe every 63 tries.
As I said very rough maths, but it does show that if you tried 'about 70 times' without getting one, its not really out of the norm.
