Need opinions on Switching out a normal villager

So like the title says I am looking for opinions about switching a normal villager for another normal villager. So I bought Maple a while ago, and I had really wanted her. She was cute, a different species than my other villagers. But I have some problems with her now, and I'm not sure if they are reasons to get rid of her.

Problem One- I payed a lot more for her than I wanted to.

So I'll start off by saying that I am not a very patient person when it comes to getting villagers I want. Because I want to enjoy the game and not be constantly looking for villagers to buy. So I saw her in the title of a cycle thread, and had space for her. I was super pumped to get her, so I made and offer for her. Then it turned into a bid war when someone else outbid me, so I though to myself " self you need to get her, outbid that person you may never get another chance at her." So I did, and it ended up being that I had to pay the buyout price. This has kinda made me resent her in a way.

I'd like to point out that at that time I was still looking for other dreamies, and wanted to save as much tbt as I could for them. Pretty much all of them were tier one or two, so I knew they would be pricey to get. I also knew that I wasn't making a lot of tbt at the time, so I needed to be careful how much I spent.


Problem two- Her house placement.

Now I didn't really know much about plot resetting at the time. I had been trying to plot reset her and thought I had done it, so I didn't go through the new character registration. I loaded onto to my mayor character and found that she had been plotted right next to my campsite. I had to shake my head at this, for my silly mistake. But needless to say she moved in I thought she was a cutie, and forgave myself for the mistake. But now that I have plotted the rest of my villagers in a certain area, she looks like a loner all by herself far away from the rest.


So my question to you is, Do I replace her? Or find a way to accept these problems?


I should also point out that sprinkle has been replaced by ruby. Just in case people are basing their villager switch on who would fit best with my current villagers.

I had thought about skye and fauna, but I think their still in my void. Not sure if I've cycled 16 villagers out yet so I could get them, but at the same time I kinda want a villager I've never had before.

Ohhhh! Tia is pretty cute, adding her to the list of potentials.

Molly is not too different to Maple color-scheme and house wise. Maybe you could go for her. I'd suggest Fauna over any other but if she's in your void, I'd say Molly.

Hmm I do agree with that, But I'm wondering if color wise would she fit. I do think unlike other ducks she's real cute, and for me that's saying something. Cause I have ducks on my no move in list.

Having such a dilemma, there are so many cute normals >.<

Looking at the colour scheme for your other villagers. I'd either go with Pekoe or Mitzi. If not them than maybe Vesta or Eunice would look nice too.

Yeah I'm leaning towards mitzi or pekoe now that I look at my other villagers.

As others have suggested, I think either Pekoe or Mitzi would fit in nicely with your other villagers (I think Mitzi would fit in the best colour-wise imo), but Tia would look nice too

Mitzi, as most of your villagers are blue and white, she would fit right in

I'm gonna say switch up Maple for either Tia, Merengue, Skye, Molly, or Pekoe (if you're looking to stay with a normal bear cub). I think any of them would fit in just fine with your villagers tbh. In your case, I think Tia, Skye, Pekoe, or Merengue would fit best color scheme wise. Good luck!
