Hello!

I am new to this site. I've seen it come up in searches when I search for Animal Crossing things, but never thought to join.
However I'm glad to say I joined today.

I've been getting back into ACNL and wanted to join something that was still active in the game.
Tumblr doesn't seem to be a good source, at least not that I can find.
So this came up, yet again, in my searches and I said, well it seems active so why not join?

Maybe I can make some new friends, visit towns, and all those wonderful things associated with being apart of an Animal Crossing based community.

So I'm excited to get into this community and be an active member.
I'm also hoping it will keep me motivated to keep playing and not fall out again.
I really want to get that "perfect dream town" I've always wanted you know?

Thought I ought to mention I'm not new to Animal Crossing!
I've been a fan since Wild World came out and played that.
I used to watch a friend as a kid play Animal Crossing for the Game cube.
So I'm not new to the world of Animal Crossing, just these forums!​

I'm sure you could still be quite helpful. I think I understand most of the basics so far.
The rules are fairly common sense from what I can tell. General to most forums.
So I don't really have any questions thus far but I appreciate the offer
If I have any, I'll ask and if you can help well awesome! If not that's cool too.

I do have a question: Does anyone know generally, how quickly reports get handled?
I only ask because I reported a post/thread that may be bad-life-threatening advice given to person.
It's not clearly obvious but I'm genuinely concerned and don't know if I should also contact an online staff member right away or just wait.

And yes I figured that out now. A mod informed me if nothing is to be done then nothing will be done. Normally they don't give any kind of reply. At least that's what I was told.

It seems like any other forum just this one is Animal Crossing orientated (aside from the general forums).
It's not perfect but it's not horrible either.
