Hello! Not many places you can meet with other animal crossers. I've been in some pretty overwhelming groups and The Bell Tree Forum has always been a curiosity.
I've played AC since Wild World. I use to play it on my Sisters Nintendo Wii. She had gotten the game as a gift from my parents. She never touched it for months until I cracked that puppy open and went into a spiraling freefall of love for the game. Soon after my little Sister made a character and shared a the upstairs with me. She was only allowed one room to make her own (I grinded all the upgrades in the game). Wild world was a game we bonded over for well over a year.
I started dating my significant other 8 years ago, and our first year together she surprised me with my very own Nintendo 3DS with Animal Crossing New Leaf. The game was so different in features but stuck to its core element. Pay off debt and decorate your house. I LOVED New Leaf. I played it for hours with my significant other sharing items and bells back and forth. Again, Animal Crossing was contributing to a bonding experience with someone I loved.
Now I am playing Animal Crossing New Horizons. I have to admit, I'm sucked in. I have spent over a thousand hours in the game and now use my experience and resources to share with anyone who asks. I'm happy to say I've improved at least a thousand other players in advancing their islands and helped them enjoy their game to its full potential. I always say "if you cant get more than 300 hours out of a game, it was a waste of money".
I look forward to making friends with people that enjoy AC as much as I. Hopefully we can discover more games together.
