Well Dazzle cables are better in my opinion.
I bought one, but it sucks becuas I'm on a mac, so this was my alternative and I can safely say it's the best christmas present ever.

ok so its a recorder that hooks up to wii and it has like the best quality... what was its exact name?

Where does this DVD recorder connect to the Wii? A USB port? Or some odd shapen little port that is found amidst the unfamiliar realms on the Wii's surface....

not bad.

capture cards do the same thing, and are most likely cheaper though. you just have to know how to work them.

Just those 3 wires...
You know, Yellow, White, and red.
Then it connects from the DVD recorder to my Tv.

SO it's Wii > DVD Recorder > TV

I have a Dazzle, which does basically the same thing.
<object type='application/x-shockwave-flash' width="250" height="250" data='http://youtube.com/v/deXq2sE80TA'>
<param name='AllowScriptAccess' value='never' />
<param name='wmode' value='transparent' />
<param name='movie' value='http://youtube.com/v/deXq2sE80TA' /><param name='play' value='true' />
<param name='loop' value='true' /><param name='quality' value='high' /></object>
^That's a LOL trap I made for my friend :p

I use a Mac too, and there's a little bit more process, but I really don't care. I hate being lazy. :p

Nice quality, BTW. Mine's in fullscreen because that's how I record.

One thing I would recommend is to de-interlace your videos.
BTW, How do you get the videos on your Mac? Do you rip them off a DVD?

Whoa, that's great quality! Do you use a DVD recorder, too? I'd rather use a capture device. I'm not gonna waste money on a bunch of DVDs.

Nope. I use a capture device called Dazzle. Here it is:

One end is USB, which you plug in your computer. On the other end, you plug in your AV cables. Then you just capture.

It was like $50 at Best Buy. I use it for many other things than recording my videogames, though, so that's why I bought it :p

Yes, I rip them off a DVD.
The Dazzle sftware won't even work on my Mac, no matter what I try. It's a mystery.
I did buy a Dazzle. It sucked. So I just use my neat-o DVD recorder.

So from what KK says, I can't use it on my Mac? Great... Well, my friend uses the EyeTV 250, whatever that is. I might buy that.
